Travel Inn for a premier Night's Sleep
Advantages: Easily navigatable website - great rooms
Disadvantages: None
...Premier Travel Inns are great if you are wanting a stop for one or two nights and we use them quite a lot.
I used this paticular Travel Inn when I was going to a family party and didn't want to travel the 60 miles back home afterwards.
PREMIER TRAVEL INNS
There have been Premier Travel Inns in this country now for over twenty years and there are now 500 hotels across Britain to choose from.
One of the advertising statements from Premier is "A good night guaranteed"
The company are so confidant in this pledge that they offer your money back if you don't enjoy a good night's sleep; we have never had to take them up on this offer!!
PRICING
It is too difficult to be precise about the cost of the rooms as they vary from Inn to Inn and depending on the days you require them.
The rates at this paticular Travel...

Not so Premier Travel Inn
Advantages: Bang in the center of Brighton, just seconds to the Lanes.
Disadvantages: It is on one of the busiest main roads in the city centre.
...Hello there. I though for my 19th review that I would diversify into something else instead of the plethora of secret agent DVD's that I've reviewed up to now, so here goes of a review into new territory?.. mobile switched off please.
For my 32nd birthday I managed to persuade my friends to come down to Brighton for the weekend to celebrate, so I booked 8 rooms for 16 of us at the Premier Travel Inn in the City Centre for two nights, at a total cost of £1040.00.
So here are some more details about the place and my personal experience of staying there for two nights.
---Location---
The Premier Travel Inn is situated on North Street; and is an office block conversion; North Street is notorious as being one of the busiest roads in Brighton as it is the main bus route for the majority of the services for the area. But...

Premier Travel Inn - Preston East
Advantages: close to the motorway, cheap
Disadvantages: TOO close to the motorway!
...We have recently travelled up to Scotland from Devon and on the way home needed to break up the 12 hour journey. We stopped at Premier Travel Inn - Preston East.
This Travel Inn is literally right beside the southbound motorway near junction 31a northbound. We were travelling Southbound, so had to come off at junction 31, join the northbound and come off at junction 31a.
PRICE
++++++
We paid £48 for a room which is Friday to Sunday rates. Monday to Thursday would cost £51.
BOOKING
++++++++
We had an AA Road Atlas with us and also a directory of all the Premier Travel Inn's in the country. This is a very handy booklet as it has directions and location for each Travel Inn.
I telephoned the Inn and was put through to a central number as they were busy. They took a provisional booking and the Travel Inn called me...

Premier Travel Inn Southwark - London
Advantages: Excellent value, location
Disadvantages: Basic hotel
...I try to arrange a couple of days break for my husband and myself, away from the children, every Easter holiday and we like to visit London and see the sites. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in central London then Premier Travel Inn is probably your best bet. I considered three - County Hall, near the London Eye; London Bridge, north side of the bridge and Southwark. I have to admit that I didn't know where Southwark was until I looked on a map and I was surprised to find out how central to everything it was, so I chose to stay here.
The Premier Travel Inn Southwark is about eight minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station - so make sure that your luggage has wheels! I struggled but had a rest in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral at the halfway point. Doctor Who fans may remember the episode...

PREMIER TRAVEL INN - OXFORD CENTRAL
Advantages: close to the city
Disadvantages: close to the traffic
...This particular Premier Travel Inn is situated on the Oxford Business Park. It is just off the A4142 on the junction with the B480 and it is opposite the Rover Works, 3 miles from Oxford city centre.
My husband originates from Wallingford near Oxford so we travel up that way occasionally to see old friends and family. We were finding it more and more difficult to find a reasonable B&B for the night. Most of them in that area are £60 upwards for a room.
BOOKING
++++++++
We booked our room online. This was very easy to do. You find the hotel that you want, then check availability. You can then choose the type of room that you want and reserve it. You only pay for the room upon arrival and it can be cancelled as close as 1pm on the day that you arrive.
You can check in after 2pm and do not need to vacate until 12pm...

Premier Inn - A Good Nights Sleep?
Advantages: Excellent room, facilities and restaurant, easy access to main routes
Disadvantages: Traffic noise, heat in rooms
...We have stayed at Premier Inns in the past and felt fairly confident that we wouldn't be disappointed when booking Premier Inn Parkway in Guildford. Premier Inns offer standard accommodation, so you know pretty much what to expect. They guarantee their customers a 'Good Nights sleep or Money Back' and all come with a restaurant or pub adjoining, to serve residents with breakfast and evening meals.
I booked a two night break in August for my husband and myself with the intention of visiting the nearby RHS Garden at Wisley and doing a bit of shopping in Guildford - and also to have a bit of a break from the kids!
Premier Inn hotels should be booked through the Premier Inn website. To find the Parkway Premier Inn click on Guildford (Central) on the pull down list. On the website you will find details of hotel locations...

Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth - Cleverly located
Advantages: Clean and Tidy
Disadvantages: None
...I can really recommend the Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth, simply for the reason that it is situated less than 2 minutes walk to the Weymouth Sealife Centre, and also less than a minutes walk from Lodmoor Inn (Brewers Fayre), which the Premier Inn have an all in eat as much as you like breakfast deal arrangement with the Lodmoor Inn, kids eat free if adults pay £7.50 each for all in breakfast.
If you stay over night and ask nicely they might let you use the free parking the following day so that you don't have to pay at the Weymouth Sealife Centre (should you intend to visit there).
Some key points made in other reviews, which I agree with. It is very convenient for the Sea Life Centre, the town, the beach and the ferry. Booking is really easy to do online, and if you book online you only pay for the room upon arrival (see...

Weymouth Premier Inn
Advantages: handy for ferry, beach, town, County Park
Disadvantages: none
...This Premier Travel Inn is at Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth, and very convenient for the Sea Life Centre, the town/beach and the ferry.
We were catching a ferry from Weymouth in Dorset to Jersey at 7am on the Sunday morning. We only live a 2.5 hour drive away, but didnt want to leave anything to chance and also being pregnant, wanted to make life as easy as possible! So we booked into the Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth. It is on the A353 and was 2 miles from the ferry.
We decided to visit the Sea Life centre as we had a free entry voucher from Tesco. I was still shocked at the price though as it cost £13.95 for 1 adult to get in. The centre was ok but I have seen better!
Lodmoor Country Park is quite good, there was a big slide and mini go carts for the kids, and you can park and visit all of the attractions...

Premier Travel Inn Dumfries, best by far
Advantages: Rooms, Cheap price, staff
Disadvantages: None
...I stayed at the Premier Travel Inn in Dumfries just over four years ago for three days and once for a night a couple of years ago.
The first time round it was on a Thursday night arrival for a long weekends partying in preparation for my wedding on the Saturday. We were getting married in a castle just up the road but felt that the Inn offered the ideal cost savings for family and friends to gather before hand and just have a darn food time.
COST
At the time I paid £39 per room. That's not bad at all for two people sharing. The Inn at that time had just under 50 rooms and was located just of the main roundabout as you enter Dumfries just of the A75. It offered closeness to Dumfries town centre whilst being 20 odd minutes from the main motorway to the north and south of the country. I think Carlisle is about 30 miles down the road...
