When I feel heavy metal
Advantages: Great coverage; lives up to its claims; fairly unique; metallic; long lasting
Disadvantages: A teeny bit pricey but worth it!
...depict the ?heavy metal? element which they are most similar to:
***Mercury: This is the one that I own which is a stunning metallic silver colour;
***Xenon: this is a blue metal, which when dry looks like a shimmery sky blue colour;
***Plutonium: quite an unusual shade, this is described as a silvery-rose taupe which basically is a shimmery beigey-pink with a silver hue to it. Quite iridescent I think.
***Palladium: a pale, metallic lilac colour;
***Kryptonite: no it isn?t green like the element in the Superman films but is instead an intensely metallic gold though is a softer gold as opposed to a bright gold.
And now unfortunately is the drawback: there is of course a price to pay for a product which I would give the highly esteemed title of best eye shadow ever and that is £16. Yes, I know it is about four times as much as what...

Powerful Hardcore Punk Purity
Advantages: An excellent album of energetic hardcore punk music
Disadvantages: The music may be a little too fast and heavy for some
....
'Confidence and Consequence' is an excellent album from Too Pure To Die, a brilliant début offering which has here been supremely remastered. For all fans of hardcore and metal I'd definitely recommend the music of Too Pure To Die, there's a great energy about the music and something about the sound that this band produces which makes it all excellent to hear. Not one of these ten tracks disappoints, the final track on the album provides an interesting change and always the music enthrals. This album is a big and bold offering of hardcore, the guitar riffs provide a menacing metal presence and never does this band show and signs of slowing down throughout the albums half hour duration. The music is fast and fun, it will not appeal to all but it will certainly appeal to many; it's heavy enough to please hardened fans of the genre, but also...

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow
Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none
...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend.
The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home.
The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep.
We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice.
Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

A Heavy Metal Visit to Ironbridge
Advantages: Beautiful Scenery, Historic building, good food, good pubs, educational and fun,
Disadvantages: None really
...them all but I have been to a few and enjoyed what we have eaten, there is an Italian restaurant which I have heard good things about. The pubs do tend to get quite busy at the weekends; well the young ones simply get a taxi and have the lovely time by the river and enjoy a drink in the quite few pubs which are within walking distance of each other. One of the most famous shops down here is the Merrythoughts Teddy Bear shop and museum, where you can buy yourself a famous Merrythoughts teddy bear, you can?t miss the shop as it has a 6ft Teddy bear dressed as a queen?s guard outside.
The River Severn apparently is a great place to fish and you will find some fishermen sitting along its banks. There used to be a few little beach areas along the river edge but with the heavy amount of flooding and some corrosion, they have put big...

Hammer Horror Meets Heavy Metal
Advantages: Fantastic vocals, excellent songwriting and execution, loads of atmosphere, great lyrics
Disadvantages: Vocals might be offputting to some
...Released way back in 1987, King Diamond's 'Abigail' is a concept album based around numerology and possession by spirits, no less, played in the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) style. It comes across like a creepier, darker version of Iron Maiden, complete with rousing dynamic heavy metal riffs and some excellent melodic solos. Each song continues the album's narrative, which is a Hammer Horror style ghost-tale set in the 18th century complete with multiple characters each with their own lines. Both story and dialogue are voiced by vocalist King Diamond via a mix of rasped/growled narration and insanely high pitched, Bruce-Dickinson-with-hits-nuts-in-a-vice falsetto vocals, which soar above the music on each track. These are more extreme even that Rob Halford's efforts with Judas Priest, and likely won't appeal to everybody, but...

Heavy Metal the old-fashioned way
Advantages: Immensely playable, outstanding level-design and attention-to-detail, great use of humour, surprising amount of replay value
Disadvantages: Unbalanced learning curve, very frustrating at times, you'll hate it if you're retrophobic
...Metal Slug X is among the most delayed games ever to appear on the PlayStation format. Originally set for release in June 2002, fans had to wait an agonising 14 months of set-backs, development/publishing difficulties and unforeseen problems before it eventually received a UK release in early August of 2003.
Still, it wasn’t all bad news; during the fourteen months that it was in limbo, the ‘small appreciation’ surrounding Metal Slug X had snowballed into a ‘large cult’ following, and unexpected chart success subsequently followed. Coincidently the most delayed PSOne game of all time, Heart Of Darkness, was similarly a 2D side-scroller, and would eventually hit the shops a staggering three years later than scheduled, but that’s another story.
Still, better late than never as they say...

Cyborgs, Huge Guns and Heavy Metal
Advantages: Hugely fun, gratifying and exciting gameplay, good graphics, amazing music
Disadvantages: Ludicrous gibbing spoils the atmosphere a little.
...satellites to gain security-clearence to new levels. Its all find-the-key-to-open-the-door stuff at the end of the day but it does help to create atmosphere and draw you in to the game's world.
The graphics are quite crude by modern standars but still aesthetically pleasing, posessing a chunky charm that goes well with the utilitarian, heavily mechanised world of the Strogg. Quake 2 was one of the first games to take advantage of the sudden proliferation of 3D acceleration cards, and whilst it has been criticised for over-using browns and oranges, the overall effect is great, especially the lighting, with levels bathed alternately in neon-blues, emerald-greens and emergency-reds.
The game's main appeal lies in its visceral, ultraviolent nature, with a series of superb, bombastic 'Rob Zombie' style heavy metal tracks keeping adrenaline...

Devastating heavy metal
Advantages: Another towering Sabbath album
Disadvantages: Is it Heaven And Hell all over again?
...Carrying on from Heaven & Hell, the 1980 album that saw them back in the spotlight with Dio now fronting the famous down-toned metal monster, Sabbath travelled to LA in 1981 to record this. Ozzy had his Blizzard of Oz on tour at the time, so how were his old band going to respond? Some worried that RJD's songwriting, in his Rainbow days had consisted of the old sword and sorcery so beloved of 70's metal bands, and would theoretically be carried on to his new outfit, but as with H&H it is not a factor here.
Along with Dio, the line up remains: Tony Iommi (guitars), Geezer Butler (bass) and Vinnie Appice (drums), filling in for Bill Ward who sadly found himself back in rehab. Ace producer Martin Birch (Purple, Maiden, Rainbow etc) fiddles with the knobs.
Opening title Turn Up The Night leaves no-one in any doubt that...

dazzzzzling eyes!
Advantages: easy to apply, looks good
Disadvantages: none!
...looks very subtle.
The brush is so fine and the wand is a good length so you feel as though you have good control over it. I've used other liquid eye liners which end up looking stupid as I don't have control over the wand as they're too big or too heavy and the brush is too bulky. This one though is just the right shape and size so it's very easy to apply.
The bottle is see through so you can see exactly how much you have left and exactly what the contents looks like. I find this really useful as sometimes when you buy eye iners which aren't just jet black the colour on the end of the pot isn't always the same as what's inside. With this though, you can't go wrong.
I use this to emphasise whatever i've done. I tend to have darker eyeshadow towards the edges of my eyes and so I tend to use this to highlight the lighter part of my...
