...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

...After deciding to take a trip to Glasgow for a few days, my husband and I set out to find a good value hotel. After looking at the usual Travelodges and Premier Travel Inns, we came across the Campanile hotel which is like the French version of Travelodge. It was 52 pounds a night and had a secure car park, something which we found very good as parking in Glasgow tends to be quite expensive. Although the price was good we decided to shop around and managed to book 3 nights for 122 pounds on Expedia. The location of the hotel was very good as it was in the newly upgraded and developed area near the SECC and surrounding the hotel was luxury apartments, the new Clyde Arc bridge, the new STV and BBC Scotland studios and the SECC and Glasgow Science Centre. Advantages: Fantastic hotel. Trendy. Perfect place to stay when you visit glasgow.

Me and my girlfriend booked a night at Abode glasgow on new years eve and loved it so much we booked a second night in the morning just after we enjoyed the best breakfast we had for years. We both live in glasgow but wanted a nice hotel to go back to after enjoying the new year celebrations in george square. We just could not be botherd with the hasle getting home. It is bad enough getting a taxi on a normal saturday night, think what it would be like with ten thousand all trying to get a taxi at the one time. I loved the way the hotel has been decorated. ...The Glasgow Swallow is a well equipped comfortable and friendly Hotel, located a short distance outside the city centre but in an area with some of Glasgow's best attractions. It is an excellent choice for families and great value for money. I have been to the Swallow in Glasgow with my family many times. From the outside the hotel is quite unimpressive, inside is a different story. It is well decorated and well laid out. As you walk in the door you have a reception desk in front of you, the dining room, bar and lounge to the left and lift, stairs to rooms and ballroom to the right. ...My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights recently, here is my review: Cleanliness: Room and rest of the hotel was not only clean but literally sparkling, its just a shame that the carpets upstairs seemed old, out of fashion and grubby although they were hoovered, it would be nice to see modern fresh carpets there one day to compliment the rest of the hotel. Room: Spotless everywhere, the bathroom was sparkling, the bed consisted of a crisp white duvet and not sheets & wool blanket which you get in some places! Extra pillows and towels stored away, tea & coffee including decaf and herbal, nice! Not exactly a wardrobe but a space in the wall to hang 4 or 5 items, iron/board, widescreen TV with internet, keyboard, telephone, movies, quality hair dryer was so good i had to jot down the name of it to buy for myself! .... It was first time ever, me and my girlfriend decided to spend a weekend in Premier Inn Caerphilly. We spent there a bank holiday weekend in August. Wanted to book hotel in Cardiff but unfortunately everything was fully booked because of Madonna's concert. Were not really happy because of that but decided to reserve room. Hotel Hotel is placed 7 and half miles away from Cardiff, which is not far. If you have car you can park it for free in hotels parking. If not - there is number 26 bus route every two hours going to Cardiff. The nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast is not included in price of this hotel but you can order it when booking or on site. If you want to treat yourself with full breakfast it will cost you £7.50. You can have as much as you like. They offer some premium pork sausages...

...The premier travelinn at charing cross Glasgow is perfect for the city break on a budget or for a conveniently positioned based when on business in the city. This is a large 12 storey hotel with a restaurant and bar on the first floor. All room are on suite and the price is per room not per person so if you are a family you get extra value from the family rooms at no extra cost. All rooms have remote control T.V. with selected digital channels (No satelite), tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable beds with additional bedding if required. Breakfast isn't included in the price and to be honest it isn't worth it anyway. As the hotels main negative the breakfast is luke warm and tasteless; got out for breakfast there are no shortages of local cafes and diners in close proximity.
