Premier Inn Caerphilly - Great Hotel

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Could be a little bit closer to city centre

.... It was first time ever, me and my girlfriend decided to spend a weekend in Premier Inn Caerphilly. We spent there a bank holiday weekend in August. Wanted to book hotel in Cardiff but unfortunately everything was fully booked because of Madonna's concert. Were not really happy because of that but decided to reserve room. Hotel Hotel is placed 7 and half miles away from Cardiff, which is not far. If you have car you can park it for free in hotels parking. If not - there is number 26 bus route every two hours going to Cardiff. The nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast is not included in price of this hotel but you can order it when booking or on site. If you want to treat yourself with full breakfast it will cost you £7.50. You can have as much as you like. They offer some premium pork sausages...

Great little find in Paris- Hotel France Albion

Advantages: Fantastic location and large sized room!

...Fresh off the plane from paris i thought I'd share my thoughts on this hotel in Paris where my best friend and I spent a long weekend. We chose the hotel for its location- close to shopping district and centre of Paris and we werent disappointed there. We were feeling confident about the hotel as we had had good communication with them before we left- we had changed dates and asked to leave our luggage in the hotel as we were arriving early. We were not disappointed when we arrived- the outside of the hotel was a freshly painted blue. of all the buildings in the street it was by far the best cared for giving a very good impression. inside, the staff could not have been more friendly and willing to help. we spoke in French to them but I did hear them speaking English with other guests. the desk is manned 24/7 which was a relief...

Elysees Opera/America Opera Hotel - Paris, France.

Advantages: Location, Room Size
Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.

...and Disneyland Paris. It is also in walking distance of Montmartre and Le Galleries Lafayette. I felt that our hotel was in a prime location making it easy for us to get around the city. Paris itself is a very noisy city; being the capital of France this should be expected. There is always a lot of noise around including during the evenings and at night time. The fact that our hotel was situated in such an area did not make it any better; this was clearly visible with our balcony doors open. However, the hotel offers soundproofed rooms, as standard to combat this noise, of which I will go into more detail later. Overall for the location I would give it a 9/10, we never struggled to find anything that we were looking for, apart from the hotel itself in the first instance. Premier Inn Caerphilly - Ideal Hotel if on a budget

...I first stayed in this hotel a few years ago because it was the only hotel I could get into for the WRC, we stayed there for a weekend. We had never stayed at a Premier Inn before & we were very pleasantly surprised - the hotel is situated just off a large roundabout, (it is very easy to get to) & we found it very peaceful with no traffic noise what so ever. The hotel is not very far from Cardiff so you can either drive in or the hotel has a bus stop close by and Caerphilly has a train station with a train running to cardiff at regular intervals, due to the horrible one way system in Cardiff we chose to catch the train in, it was only £4ish return & you get off right outside the Millenium Stadium. From the outside the Hotel looked in very good condition & the inside was in just as nice condition, the reception was excellent - friendly...

Premier Inn Brilliant Hotel

...Me and my partner and another couple went down to Colchester to visit our friends, and we decided to stay in this hotel as it was around the corner from ther house. The price of the room for the night was average for a decent hotel. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by the receptionist and they were very polite, once we had checked in we went to put our luggage in our rooms. The rooms themselves were lovely and very cosy, they were very clean and the bed was very comfatable. The bathroom was a average bathroom with a shower over the bath and it was vary powerfull so the shower was great. Also we had a television showing all the basic channels and a few extas. There was a tea tray with tea/coffee/sugar and milk which was lovely to wake up to. the bedroom also had a couch underneath the window which was a nice extra. Overall...

...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

A great choice for travellers through France

...Kyriad hotels is a chain of hotels situated all over France, so if you are looking for a quite a cheap getaway I would highly recommend them. The standard of the hotel is excellent as I am about to state below. All the hotels are based on major roads & tend to be based either on the edge of a city or just outside. This is a budget hotel chain with no frills. You will find this chain of hotels near formula one hotel and near the Holiday or Travel Inn hotels (British owned by either Whitbread or Bass). Although I have already said this is a cheap budget hotel, the cost per night for a double room, you are looking at between £20 to £30 for the night. I have stayed in this hotel chain about 3 times now and the layout in each and the standards are about the same. Cheap does not mean a lesser product! This is explained even further...

...I?ve now been to Lille three times in the past year or so, each previous time, merely for the day. Only over the last weekend did we stay overnight. Why Lille? Well, rather like the reason dogs lick their naughty bits, it?s because we can. Lille is the first main stop in France on the Eurostar/TGV route from the Channel Tunnel ? yes, I know you could get a train that stops at Calais (Fréthun), but that?s like getting out at Bristol Parkway and expecting to be in Bristol! Gare Lille-Europe arrives outside your train window 1 hour and 40 minutes after London Waterloo International disappears. Stage 1 of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), means that we now get to hurtle through Kent at 186 M.P.H. before slowing to a mere 100 M.P.H. to shrug off the 32 miles of tunnel in a mere 20 minutes. I have actually been known to stay in a Youth Hostel on a business trip - but generally I opt for what have become known as 'budget hotels' - you know the ones: Premier Inn (a.k.a. Travelinn as was), Travelodge, Innkeeper's Lodge. These are the earthbound equivalents of budget airlines. No frills. But you do expect them to deliver on the basics.
