Liverpool, the next Premier league champions

Advantages: Liverpool have a big squad all of which are relatively young compared with other teams in the league. They have just one 3 cups, 2 domestic and one in Europe. In the next few years i predict that they will win the league!!!
Disadvantages: This is also bad. They are very young and are prone to injury. Even though they have won three cups they are still quite in experienced. There are not many disadvantages.

...As a Chelsea fan i don't like to admit to things like this but i do think that Liverpool are the next Manchester United. They have a young team with experience. Just look at Michael Owen, he has been around for a good four years and he has been the centre of attention since that amazing goal against Argentina in World Cup '98. Last year Liverpool won an amazing three cups. They won two domestic cups and they won in an amazing match to come out on top in the Eufa cup. They played against a relatively un heard of team but they had beaten some tough opposition on the way which proved them worthy of being champions of that competition. Within the next few years all i can expect is to see Michael Owen and co. pick up that crown as Champions of England. I am hoping that something goes wrong but i don't really expect that!!!...

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

Once upon a time, in Liverpool...

Advantages: An excellent museum dedicated to the Fab Four, suitable for all age groups
Disadvantages: Some of the headsets are a bit dodgy (it was just mine) and some displays not working

...This time during the month of Beatlemania, instead of just writing about the bands albums, films and death theories, I wanted to write about some of the ways in which Liverpool still celebrate the lives of their favourite sons (beside the football players!). Although Ringo made a few disparaging comments towards his hometown a year or two ago, the phrase ?everyone has to start somewhere? springs to mind and ? although I may be a little bias ? I normally discuss what led me to make a certain choice of hotel when I come to review them, but in this instance the choice was made for me by my department's budget holder - in other words, this was the cheapest hotel in the vicinity! This also means that I cannot comment directly on what the Premier Inn booking experience is like; I can, however, say the customer service people at their website are prompt to respond to emails and are very helpful, as I contacted them to confirm check-in details and got a friendly reply in less than 24 hours (which is good in my experience of such things). ...Back in March, I was in need of a digital camera, but was looking for one that wouldn't break the bank...Ideally, the Premier DS-5080 5 Mega Pixel camera is on the market then! For a camera of such image quality, I was somewhat taken aback that the retail price was just shy of the £100 mark. Excellent! The first thing that instantly struck me was the weight of it. Lightweight, if possible to say so, is an understatement! Its thin silver body with sliding lens cover and flat LCD monitor ensure that there is little "excess" materials used in the making of it. As the image of the product shows, it's streamline look is very attractive and pleasing to look at and use. Premier, not perfect

...Like a lot of people I travel regularly for work. Unlike most of them, I also work in the quasi-public-sector and feel obliged therefore to restrict the expense claims to reasonable limits. I have actually been known to stay in a Youth Hostel on a business trip - but generally I opt for what have become known as 'budget hotels' - you know the ones: Premier Inn (a.k.a. Travelinn as was), Travelodge, Innkeeper's Lodge. These are the earthbound equivalents of budget airlines. No frills. But you do expect them to deliver on the basics.
