The Worst Premiership Goals DVD

Advantages: About 10 good goals
Disadvantages: 240 rubbish goals, poor case, picture quality, slow replays (to name a few)

...My mum bought me the '250 Greatest Premiership Goals DVD' a few Christmas' ago now, and when I unwrapped it I was initially very excited about the DVD. However, the word 'greatest' is used rather liberally when applied to this DVD. I was expecting 250 goals full of sublime passing, awesome movement, lovely neat inter-play and stunning finishes. In actual reality, I got about 10 good goals and 240 other goals that in my eyes cannot be classed as great! There are an awful lot of these DVD's around with compilations of great goals, but this one is the worst that I have seen. The front case is very poor with dreadful pictures and horrible writing and a poor layout. The DVD doesn't run particularly smoothly and the picture quality was dreadful. **Features** Well, obviously you would think that there are 250 goals on this DVD. However...

...Bring back MOTD now please! I used to get annoyed at the lack of sporting highlights on the BBC and learning that MOTD was being scrapped was just the tip of the iceberg. I dont even watch Grandstand most of the time now because I am forced to watch sports such as the student games for synchronise swimming! ...Match of the Day is possibly one of the greatest TV institutions of all time. Every football fan used to tune in Saturday evening to watch the days events unfold. Everyone was put into a state of shock when ITV announced they had snatched the right to show Premiership football instead of BBC1. Everyone predicted it to fall flat on its rear end. At it did. The time slot it was on is the only good thing about ITV's "The Premiership." 7pm in the evening means you dont have to get knackered staying up late. And for those of you who come home late from the match or from the pub, there is a late repeat as well. The intro music was good. Pretty hard to follow the classic MOTD tune, but they made a good choice with U2's "Beautiful Day."
