Set in the late '60s, we meet Anthony (Larenz Tate, Menace II Society), an African-American youth who is about to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps. Accompanied by his buddies Skip (Chris Tucker) and Jose (Freddy Rodriguez), he is sent to fight the war in Vietnam, and has to endure the devastating effects of violence, racism and poverty, in order to serve their country. Out For Dead Presidents

...Dead Presidents is a 1995 film, written and directed by (Allen and Albert,) The Hughes Brothers, known for directing 'Menace II Society' and 'From Hell.' It stars Larenz Tate (Menace II Society), Chris Tucker (Rush Hour) and Freddy Rodriguez (Planet Terror/Six Feet Under.) The documents a four year period between 1969 and 1973 in The New York Bronx district during the vietnam war and follows the fortunes of three schoolfriends and the other surrounding inhabitants of their neighbourhood. The film is a graphic look at the events of the time, especially seeing as there is a good thirty/forty minute chunk in the middle set in Vietnam. However, the film is primarily set in New York. Would the President stay here?

Advantages: central location, jacuzzi baths, helpful staff
Disadvantages: not consistent in its standards

...At the end of a week long boating holiday in cramped conditions, we treated ourselves to a night of comfort in a four star hotel in Split. We wanted somewhere comfortable and central, so after studying the web, we selected the Hotel President. Location We chose the hotel mainly because of its location, as we were only there for a short time and we wanted to be able to get around quickly on foot. The Hotel President is a 5 minute walk from the old town and Diocletian's Palace. The hotel folder in the room says it is 5 minutes walk to the business area and 10 minutes walk to the railway, bus station and harbour. I think these are slight underestimates based on our walk around town, especially as it is quite busy down by the harbour (and we were just at the beginning of the season). It's not the nicest area to walk through...

Disadvantages: Not always easy reading and a complicated plot.

...ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN is a film version of the non-fiction account of journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward's investigation into the Watergate scandal, which ultimately ended up with the resignation of President Richard Nixon. This is one of the most exciting stories in American political history and the film was released in 1976 with a great deal of praise and lots of receipts at the box office. The film stars Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Woodward and Bernstein respectively, give masterful performances and it is a shame that these two were not seen on screen together more often. Redford in particular had a passion for the material, and indeed this passion has been cited as one of the reasons the film exists, and this comes through in his work here. Disadvantages: Not honouring confirmed bookings,Poor service, poor staff attitude

...the distinct impression this was normal practice for them. We met another 8 people the next day who had had exactly the same experience of being booted out of the President. The Hotel President's behaviour towards us was totally unacceptable. They took our money and did not deliver the goods. If you do choose to book here, please beware that their confirmation letters may turn out to be worthless....

presidents are dead already! dont depress me

Advantages: Good quality direction and wel put to gether
Disadvantages: Very depressing, hard to see why the film was made

...with a plan in the space of 30 second to rob a bank full of money i.e. Dead presidents' which are the faces on money. That's about the only clever thing about this movie the title! It should have been given to a film of more substance. For me this movie sucks I can see no need to watch this film or even look at it again. There is a lot of killing and gun fire for no reason the whole fiasco is just pointless I don't recommend you watch this movie, I say, read the blur and just make up how the film goes in your head you will be glad you did. Thanks for reading, I have told you what it's all about if you like movies about bank robberies, you still shouldn't watch this. The Presidents are back in office with this hit CD

Advantages: A nice long 18 track album from the reformed Presidents
Disadvantages: I believe the Presidents should have more recognition for their excellent songs

...● Who Are The Presidents?? ● I wouldn't blame anyone for asking this question. Formed (I think!) in 1995 they are a 3 piece outfit consisting of Chris Ballow : Vocals and two string basitar. Dave Dederer : Vocals and guitbass and Jason Finn : Vocals and drums. I'm pretty sure they have split and reformed twice now, the first time was around 1999 after releasing the album 'Pure Frosting' then two years later they released the album 'Freaked Out And Small' and I think they split again after that, and then reformed in 2005 to release this CD. As far as I know, the Presidents have only had three songs that have got into the UK charts, those are Peaches (probably the biggest hit) Lump and Dune Buggy. I don't know if they have had more success in the States (which is where they are from) although I doubt they would of as their...

3 Presidents in office

Advantages: A very good CD considering it's the bands 1st release
Disadvantages: A couple of songs do not really do anything for me

...After listening to this album I really got into liking the bands music, the song that grabbed my attention was the most popular single release from the album 'Peaches'. The Presidents Of The USA (or PUSA if you haven't got much time!) can best be described as a rock/indie band, I must admit some of the lyrics are a little strange. But for me their music sounds totally unique, due mainly to the 2 and 3 string guitars. Now I'll give a short description of each track followed by a rating out of 10 at the end of the description. 1)Kitty. Not too bad, quite slow and livens up a bit in the chorus. 6 2)Feather Pluckin. A good song, quite mellow and again livens up in the chorus. 7 3)Lump.
