Sheraton Pretoria - Another 5 star treat for Mrs Ben

Advantages: Excellent view, fantastic service, great food
Disadvantages: Location, minibus taxis

...Background As part of my competition win (a trip to the World Cup Quarter Finals in Johannesburg, South Africa), Sony threw in three nights bed and breakfast accommodation. Two hours before leaving home for the airport, Mrs Ben and I received an email informaing us that we were no longer staying in a posh Johannesburg suburban 4* hotel, but instead were going to the Sheraton hotel in Pretoria, a completely different city. Seeing as the entire trip was free, it seemed a little churlish to complain, so off we went on a voyage into the unknown... Overview & Appearance Arriving around 9am after a terrible journey (see the South African Airways review to understand why), from the outside the Sheraton was somewhat underwhelming. Having driven through several undesirable Pretorian suburbs it seemed highly unlikely the hotel...

Travelling Without Moving

Advantages: lots of great tracks

...Travelling Without Moving was released in 1996 by the Jazz Funk band Jamiroquai, this was their 3rd studio album and contains most of my favourite Jamiroquai songs. I was quite young when this album was released and stumbled across it a few years ago on Spotify and instantly fell in love with it, I bought my copy of Travelling Without Moving last year to keep in my car a bit of driving music that is a little different to the UK top 40. Pretoria East the little HOLLYWOOD!

Advantages: Higly technologically advanced, Beautiful, clean, Huge Malls!, friendly.

...Hi im from Los Angeles California USA and visited South Africa in August 2004, I stayed in Pretoria for 3 months on business. Pretoria is South Africa's second largest city and is the capital of South Africa! Pretoria is made up of 5 parts: PRETORIA NORTH - Its more open and less urban than its counter parts, it?s a more mid to below mid class area, nice malls, and beautiful scenery. PRETORIA SOUTH (Centurion) - well developed nice suburban area with many houses and malls, it?s classified as a mid to upper class area. PRETORIA WEST- in and a round old urban areas, a very industrial area of Pretoria, its a below mid to a very low class area (although some of the low class people are extremely friendly). CITY CENTRE- A design delight, it?s very nice to walk around (be careful though as with all cities) the people live in apartment...
