The Sony Ericsson K850i - Really rather nifty.

Advantages: Excellent camera, great aesthetics, functions very well
Disadvantages: Attracts fingerprints like no other!

...- good quality if you don't maximise them on your media player, but their original size is so tiny that they're likely to be useless unless you do. But to me the ability to record videos is just an added extra - as a camera phone, you can't go far wrong with this one. Overall, I think that the Sony Ericsson k850i is an excellent phone. It's a bit bulky and, in comparison with its competitors, perhaps a little heavy, but it's no brick. Despite its size it looks great, although its glossy finish gets covered in fingerprints very quickly. The camera is excellent, certainly the best of any phone that I've used and one of the best in its price rang; it has been described as "a camera with a phone" rather than a phone with a camera! The touch-buttons are cool, if slightly pointless, and this is a very easy phone to use with all of the applications...

...Continuing the K series of impressive camera phones by sony-ericsson, the K850i is a stylish candy bar phone with a 5.0 megapixel camera. Firstly the phone itself, much like previous phones in the k series of sony ericsson phones the k850i is a candy bar phone. At about 17mm thick and 102mmx48mm length and width it's hardly the thinnest phone i've ever seen but it fits in pockets easily and although it is around 118grams it isn't too heavy. In terms of every day use i'd say its not too heavy to be irritating and not too light to think it's missing from your pocket. The design on the phone is very slick, with blue LED's for the camera function, a nice sizeable screen and a big lens on the back of the phone it becomes obvious that this phone is all about the function. Overall not the smallest, thinnest phone but an acceptable size...

...OK, here goes, my review of the Sony Ericsson K850i. Please bear with me as I have only had the phone for 3 days so can only review it based on my experience so far! LOOKS etc.. This phone looks quite cool, is quite chunky but not too big - I would say that it is smaller and lighter than the Nokia N95. It feels pretty sturdy too but I keep worrying about dropping it as there is no customised case yet for it. The number keys are well spaced out so you don't hit the wrong buttons by mistake but it can make texting slower. There are 3 touch screen buttons at the bottom of the screen which you use for your menu, media and internet - at first I found these annoying as I kept pressing them by mistake but I am getting used to it, however, you do sometimes accidentally press them with your cheek while you are on the phone so be careful...

...Excellent phone on paper, I have been loyal to the K models since they began with the K700i which at the time was a fantastic phone and has progressed well right up to the K850i. This phone now has a fantastic 5 mega pixel camera with flash and a light for videos for nighttimes shots, and plently of fiddly bits for people who know how or why to adjust an ISO level and white balance etc. The super small memory stick is also a great feature with lots of memory that will take years to fill up depending on usage. ...This phone, Sony Ericson, K850i Cyber Shot is a fine instrument. My son gave me this as a present. I am over sixty years of age, and find it an easy phone to deal with. The camerea is wonderful, I have six grand children and take photos of them all the time. I can transfer them to my computer within minutes. The quality of the photos is much better then one would normally expect from a mobile phone. I did read the instructions at the outset but have not needed them since, as the operations seem self explanatry and obvious.
