QUALITY PRINTING AT A COST

I ended up buying a Hewlett Packard Printer / Scanner / Copier which takes HP 21 and HP 22 Inkjet Print Cartridges. For those of you that are into minimal packaging, then I would say that there is too much packaging, in the form of cardboard, and depending on where you buy them from, these are then further packaged into a see through plastic holder. A slick print screen facility

I cannot state as to how true this is, as when I visited Staples on the seventh of this month this was the first time that I had seen a smaller size (and this goes for all the shops I have bought from) so therefore I can only assume that this is true or else they would not be allowed to print such a claim on full view for all to see. For those of you who wish to know more detail, I do so believe that this particular inkjet cartridge that we are talking about can print up to around 400/450 sheets with the quality not faulting at all. This cartridge could not be any easier for putting in, as all that one would simply do is to open up the top of the printer; remove the old one; remove the new one from all of its packaging, and insert in to the printer. Fantastic print quality but high maintenance costs

Disadvantages: High cost and use

The printing capacity of this particular cartridge on my printer a HP Deskjet D4260 was 580 pages/210 photos. I have to admit that I have never made it to such high volumes and found myself replacing the cartrdiges very frequently (almost every forthnight which came very expensive at a price of £22.17 per cartridge. Because of this, I have to say that I have now switched back to my old HP Deskjet 845c printer for general office use and leave my D4260 for "special occasions", e.g. photo printing....

Top Quality Printing

According to information on the web, these cartridges boast smaller nozzle holes (produced by the Excimer Laser) meaning sharper images and smoother blending of colours. Great for Occasional Printing

If I?m honest I don?t know if I am the right person to write this review as I myself did not decide to buy a printer that needed this cartridge as the printer came free with the computer, and obviously a lot of you will be in the same position. If I were to be in the position of deciding whether to buy this cartridge and/or a corresponding printer, I probably wouldn?t, as I find I'm having to replace the cartridge quite frequently. .... It was around 1.5Mb in size if I remember rightly! The printer is of a compact design, is the usual PC hardware cream colour, and sits away nicely under a typcial computer desk. It has an on/off button, a button to help install new cartridges and also status indicators for your ink cartridges. More about them later... After I’d set it up it had trouble printing.
