Kodak Easyshare Dock - DO NOT BUY
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Plus Series 3 by
martinspurr
Advantages: Not many; Fast print, Good quality photos
Disadvantages: LOTS; unable to recognise photos, paper won't feed, ink and paper expensive, software isn't intuitive.
.... This often messes up and puts all your photos into old albums and makes it very difficult to print back to the dock.
On the printer side of things, this is also a very difficult process. The paper often won't feed into the printer and will need to be held BY HAND just to get it inside. A plus point would be to say that once the paper has fed the print is very fast and the quality of the final print is very high. Printed 4 times as Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and then a final glossy covering.
On the subject of ink and paper, these are very expensive and ONLY Kodak brand paper will work in the printer.
Overall I would not recommend this printer, even though the odd time that it does work there is a fine print, 9 times out of 10 it s a struggle. You would be better to get a printer which prints documents and has options to print onto photo paper...

Kodak Easy Share C613 camera and G610 printer dock
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock G610 by
jessica.rabbit
Advantages: Very simple to use, good quality photos
Disadvantages: None
...I was very impressed when my hubby bought me the G610 easy share printer dock along with the easy share C613 camera for xmas this year. He has no idea about technology and does not normally surprise me with anything like this!
I used the camera straight away, fortunately he had the foresight to buy a memory card as this was the only thing not included in the package and the camera memory alone only holds about 6 pictures.
It was very simple to use, press the on button, turn the dial to auto, point and shoot. The viewfinder is a decent size and it is easy to view pictures taken and delete the ones you dont want.
The printer dock I tried later and again it could not be any easier. The instruction book is thick but only the first 18 pages are in English. Pictures show exactly what to do and I printed my first picture within minutes...

A great quality budget priced printer
Review of Canon i 250 by
tobuyornottobuy
Advantages: Ease of use, Cheap ink replacment cost
Disadvantages: Noisy, no paper catch tray
...When our old printer packed up we had to bit the bullet and get a new one. We didnt want memory stick slots, copier and scanner built in, camera docking, all we wanted was a printer that printed!
We have now owned this model for 14 months and it has been a joy to use. Simple USB connection and install software, with web print which is very handy!
The printer itself is quite compact and doesnt take up a lot of desk space. The paper feed tray folds down when not in use to keep dust away from the printer internals and ink cartridges.
The only things it lacks are a catch tray for the printed paper, and a usb cable (its not included in the price)
The print quality for such an inexpensive printer is outstanding, even when printing photos, although its not to keen on cheap photo paper.
There are other printers that are cheaper...

A gadget for everyone
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 by
bigmadeejit
Advantages: Quick, easy and fun to use
Disadvantages: Paper quality isnt the best
...I got the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock as a gift for Christmas and I havent stopped using it since.
I was quite sceptic about using my home printer to print photos from my digital camera as I always thought my home printer never gave me the best quality, but I wasn't going to splash out a fortune on a brand new printer. So like most other people I still continued to bring my film to the Chemists and get them developed the normal way.
Since I got the Easyshare printer, I have actually been encouraged to take photographs. There was nothing worse than getting my photos back from the chemists to find out that they were over exposed. The Easyshare printer prints your photos exactly how you see them on you digital camera.
The only real drawback that I have found is that the paper for it isnt quite as glossy as some other photo paper...

The digital age of Home photography
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 by
charlie1980
Advantages: give your friends and family the photo of their visit before they leave
Disadvantages: limited to standard 6 x 4 size photos
...I love the kodak printer dock and camera. It has given even my, average at best, picture taking a whole new dimension. We bought it, like most new parents, to take numerous pictures of our baby son to cherish in the future. We have used it on family days out, holidays and even to take embarrasing photos of the brother in law to use as 'insurance'. The photos produced are quality - you need never wait for the developer again, and it is so easy, literally just press the button. The paper and ink packs are a bit pricey but in packs of 40 so they do last a fair while - even with our enthusiastic snapping. My partner's family is spread all over the UK and when they come to visit us, or we go to them, we take the dock and can give them a photo of us all there and then. Its design is compact and handy for travel and is used to print out...

Lexmark Z615
Review of Lexmark Z 615 by
twist197666
Advantages: Good Quality Word Processing, Light, Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Poor picture quality, Expensive Ink, Uses a lot of ink.
..., if word processing is your main use for the printer, it is very good word printing. It is fairly fast, and good quality. The paper dock can also hold a large quantity of paper without jamming. So this is good for large files. It is a small printer, and light for transportation. Just be reading for re-aligning when you settle it down somewhere. The printer is easy to use, having just a standby button and no other buttons. The ink is automatically shown when you lift the front of the printer up. On the whole this is a good printer for word processing but not for photos....

Kodak Easyshare Z740 and Printer dock 3
Review of Kodak EasyShare Z740 by
ciaojake
Advantages: great for value;10x optical zoom; sharp and colourful prints
Disadvantages: cheaper packages available if you dont need the 10x zoom, camera is abit bulky
...Kodak Easyshare Z740 and Printer dock 3
----------------------------------------------------------
Digital photography has given the average happy snapper complete hands on control over how their images look, without the needd for trays of smell chemicals or an evening course in developing at the local college.
now anyone can invest in an inkjet printer or, better still a dye sublimantion printer like this one with no messy ink cartridges to contend with and quickly generate photo quality prints.
and with the prices falling and competition particularly fierce, its now possible to buy a decent combined printer and digital camera package for little upwards of £150. thats a perfect deal for anyone looking to swap film for the first time.
whereas most cameras bundled with printers are of the cheap, point and shoot variety, kodak has gone...

Good budget machine
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock G610 by
huntressofthenight
Advantages: Speed, clarity on a budget
Disadvantages: It would be compact to store if not for the detachable and awkward paper tray...
...was a Kodak, and I after seeing the dodogy lighting quality of some others, bought by my friends, I have stuck with the brand to buy my second camera, and obtai nthis printer. I can honestly say I think that the brand is good value for money, and their equipment has rarely let me down.
I find it perfect for the average family snaps and ease of use that you want in a busy lifestyle. This printer does print to a superior standard to our HP inkjet printer that is connected up to our PC, and surprisingly fast. The 60 seconds is about right, and you have the option of changing the layout of the pictures and the number per page. The downside is, you do have to buy that special sized paper, which is often outrageously priced, but the printer comes with 15 test sheets, so I suppose we can't complain. You also have the advantage of docking the camera...

A gadget you definitely won't want to share!
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 by
sleepy_sheep
Advantages: easy to use, creates quality prints in minutes
Disadvantages: absolutely none!
...The kodak easy share printer dock, is for once a title that does a product justice.
Overview -
This smart little printer will allow you to actually print out those hundreds of pictures stored on your digital camera's memory card. You can select the size which you wish your photos to be printed, and watch as they appear within minutes looking as if they had been at the processors for 5 days! It comes with an adaptor which means you don't actually have to use a kodak digital camera, most cameras should fit perfectly. However if you are using the special kodak batteries (which are kindly given to you when you purchase this model) then everytime you "dock" in your camera they will be recharged. Which is a big advantage, as we all know how digital cameras eat batteries!
Set up -
Upon opening the box in which it was received, you...

Kodak's Greatest Invention!
Review of Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 by
Baronessa23
Advantages: Super Fast, Excellent Quality, Easy to Use, Reliable, Portable
Disadvantages: Ink runs out fast, might not be economical
...The Kodak Easyshare printer dock is an amazing portable printer you can take with you anywhere you go and prints pictures in less than 5 minutes! It's so great and handy you wont ever want to or have to pay to get your pictures developed or printed again. The pictures are printed on high-quality photograph paper you will have to purchase separately, but as a starter kit, you will get a set of paper and ink cartridges included with the printer. p
You can print as many pictures as you like, as you long as you have enough paper and ink. Another thing I found interesting is that you can watch as the picture is printed; all four phases: yellow ink, red ink, magenta ink, and finally, the finishing gloss. And there you have it: a nice crisp picture. You can now give as gifts, keep for yourself in an album, or do whatever you please because...
