Brother dcp115c printer, scanner, copier

Disadvantages: Flimsy , need to handle with care

...headings make finding the relevent pages quick and the straight foreward language and diagrams make these guides simple to use , even for a novice like me!! I feel however that there are a few disadvantages to this machine. The first is that the machine has rather a flimsy feel especially the lift up top for the photocopier and scanner which isn't particularly robust. The second problem is the ink cartridges, these are all individual ie. a seperate cartridge for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. The cost for ink therefore can be expensive. Brother ink cartridges are not also as easy to purchase on the high street as some other makes although they can be purchased on the internet and i did notice yesterday that tesco has just started to sell the black cartridge for this machine. If you did then you probably deserve a medal, but then so would 'Brother' for managing to cram so many features and uses into one device. Epson printer/scanner/copier, quality or not?

Advantages: User-friendly, cheap printer and can be good quality

...I wanted to buy a printer which was reasonable quality, quick and had cartridges that lasted through a lot of prints. Print Quality/Speed The speed is generally quite quick, obviously full colour photos take a lot longer than black documents. When comparing to a cheap HP laser printer the quality of the Epson DX4450 prints are far superior, but lasers are far quicker. I have not had a printer/scanner/copier all in one before and this has proven quite handy. Build Quality The printer seems to be built quite well, it has a plasticy appearance but in full black is quite stylish. The top surface is quite shiney which attracts any finger prints but when rubbed with a dry cloth this is easily removed. Canon Multipass C530 – Fax, Printer, Scanner and Copier. = The Canon MultiPass C530 is extremely easy to set up. In the beginning, it's a little confusing to operate which is due to its many functions. Once you get the hang of it, then its really quite easy to operate. The printer function is just as easy as any other printer (although I don’t print much with this as I already have an HP Printer), and the printing and copying quality is reasonably good. Images and documents are easily scanned, no matter what the size. There are different settings depending on what you're scanning.
