Advantages: Superb quality printing and you get scanning, copying and faxing into the bargain

Fine Printer Shame About The Software

Other printers like the Epson Photo R200 enable you to add text to your DVDs, in a circle around the perimeter and many other fine possibilities. The HP D5160 only allows you to add text in straight lines on a small portion that it specifies. In addition its picture and layout capabilities are extremely limited. This is very poor showing from HP, who have obviously knocked together some feeble software that severely limits its own machine's potential. The only way around this is to pay a further £15 or so and buy CD printing software separately. Personally I have uninstalled the HP software, which does nothing much more than the standard Windows Photo editing programs; then installed...

Dell 725 color printer

Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: does not print in true black ink color

...This printer has NEVER printed in true (or even close...) black "color". Contacting Dell support, I was told "your printer is no longer under warranty", so they would not even offer assistance. I never used it much (it was bundled with the laptop), so now when I needed it for a project, it is very disappointing that it does not work. I have downloaded and installed the "latest" driver (from 2006!) and that still did not help. I re-ran the printers test pattern and head cleaner, and no black ever printed. The test pattern is blue, pink, yellow and brownish-green. Given other's comments here about the black being a greenish-grey, I would never buy another single-cartridge printer again. I would definitely suggest you purchase a printer that has a dedicated black cartridge. Fast speed accounts for nothing if the colors are screwy!...

Great printer! Great Software! Great results!

Advantages: Simple and easy to use, comes with full instructions, Works great!, Great quality
Disadvantages: Can't think of any disadvantages at the moment!!

...dont know if it was a mistake but it was very anoying. But i luckily found a cable and it was very easy to set it up with the computer. This printer also has a special Photo Pinter. It comes with about 3 peices of photo paper and a special photo ink cartridge. Again, very easy to connect together. And also! it can print onto CDs and DVDs which is very useful. Not only does this printer work well but it looks great! and it feels very sturdy! The software included is very easy to set up and works like a charm. and the set up instructions for the printer is super aswell! I would highly recommend this to amyone looking for a printer...

Advantages: all in one, work fast

...HP PSC 1315 is my second printer. It already works for me almost two years. And I haven't any problems with it. I am a student and I live with my friends. We are four. And we all use this printer. So, I can't say that it is used rarely! It is small and cheap devise. However the black or color injects is not quite cheap. But I fill up it by myself. Scanning and copying work well. Also, it is fast devise. Just one little disadvantage - there is no ability to choose the brightness of document's copy. The software is simply to use and has rather lot of settings. So, I strongly recommend it for home or small office! :)...
