She is one of the top neonatal surgeons in the country and when she is offered a job by her old friend Naomi she moves out to California to begin working at a health clinic in Santa Monica. About the author Phyllis Dorothy James started writing in the mid 1950s and it wasn?t until 1962 that her book was published (Cover Her Face). She was made Baroness James of Holland Park in 1991. She lives in London and Oxford and has two children. The Private Patient This latest offering has Adam Dalgliesh and his team investigating the murder of Rhoda Gradwyn. Rhoda is an investigative journalist, who after years of living with a disfiguring and long-standing scar decides to book herself into a private clinic (Cheverell Manor) to have it removed. You have to say the password in a very similar way to how it was originally recorded or it simply won't let you in. What fascinates me about this journal is that you change the time and date using voice commands. To change the time, you would say "change time", then follow the instructions to change it. ...Saving Private Ryan "In the last great invasion, of the last Great War, the greatest danger for eight men?..was saving one." This film starts with a bang, literally, on the beaches of World War 2's historic D-Day invasion, a very intense and moving scene. If you are at all squeamish this is not really a film for you as, the beginning in particular and actually much of the rest of film is brutal and bloody and features blood, guts and missing limbs, however it is so good and so powerful you should look past all the gore to experience this wonderful movie. This 1998 film is described as a poignant and powerful homage to the soldiers of WW2. Like I said it starts on the beaches depicting the D-Day landings. If you are not familiar with the D-Day landings they are described as the first operations of the Allied Powers' invasion...

Once you are signed up, you receive emails informing you when the sales are on for specific brands. I read this novel in my English class at school and I am going to explain what happens in the novel, who the characters are, what I think are the best and worst bits and why, and what I would do personally to the novel to make it a better book. The main character in this novel by Michael Morpurgo is Thomas Peaceful because the book is written in the first person as if he is telling the novel. SAVING PRIVATE RYAN

...Last night me and my mate sat in front of the TV and watched 'Saving Private Ryan' After being told many times that this film was brilliant, I was really looking forward to seeing it. The film was released in 1998 and is now available on DVD and VHS, it is also shown regularly on the sky movie channels. It is directed by well known Steven Spielberg and in my opinion this is the best war film I've EVER seen. The graphics used are amazing and the reality of the film is unbelievable, the torture and pain that these people went through in the war is shown with incredible power.
