DC4800 A Good Buy!
Advantages: Ready to shoot, ease of use, good selection of settings
Disadvantages: weired shape to handle
...fell in love with the Kodak DC 4800 for the following reasons
*Kodak is a name I trust.
*It had 3.1 Megapixel uncompressed resolution (which was very good back then)
*3 x zoom optical
*2 x zoom digital
*Had a viewing screen on the rear
*Does all the things my happy snappy cameras did
So what functions are there on the camera I hear you ask (oh yes I so! Or is that just the voices inside my head again?) Well you get these:
## Camera top / front ##
*Self-timer button
*Exposure compensation dial
*Power button (on off)
*Flash pop up button
*Flash unit
*Flash button
*Shutter button
*Mode dial
*Self-timer light (light warns you when photo is about to be taken ? handy)
*Landscape/close up button
*Status display panel
~~ Status display panel ~~
>Manual mode
>Distant
>Close up
>Black and white function
>ISO setting...

Fuji FP4800 - Stunning looks with quality results
Advantages: Stylish, takes great photos, pleasure to use.
Disadvantages: Falling behind a little in spec terms...
...INTRODUCTION
I purchased my Fuji FinePix 4800 around a year ago after doing a lot of research into what the best digital camera for me would be. I eventually settled on the 4800 due to excellent reviews I had read, its stunning looks and the great deal I found on it (£200 from a small camera dealer).
THE CAMERA
The camera arrived; I was immediately struck by its beautiful design (after all, it was designed by Porsche!). Smooth and sleek with excellent textures, all of the controls look like they belong exactly where they're placed and the whole thing is extremely tactile. It?s just the right weight so that it feels solid but not too chunky. It just about goes in my pocket but perhaps it could have done with being a little smaller/lighter.
All of the camera's extremities are concealed within the camera while its off, turning...

Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 an excellent buy
Advantages: Produces a really good quality picture
Disadvantages: Expensive and sometimes struggles in low light conditions
...The Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is an excellent webcam that produces a really crisp and clear picture at the other end. The camera is fairly expensive but worth the cost.

The webcam
An instillation CD
Instruction manual
When your ready to install the software, dont do it from the CD, as several other reviews have commented on problems with the CD, instead go to the logitech website and download it from there. If you want all the features then dont plug the webcam in until the software tells you to.
The instruction manual is not really needed, as operation of the webcam is so easy.
The webcams image quality is really good in conversation with skype according to my friend in China. The picture...

Dexxa Flatbed Scanner 4800
Advantages: well priced
Disadvantages: A bit larger than most modern scanners
...If you are looking for a well priced easy to use desktop scanner, look no further. In the past 12 to 18 months most hardware has seen dramatic price reductions and in the case of flatbed scanners there is no exception. The biggest problem here is knowing which makes and models will be most compatible to which computers, also what capabilities they have.
The Dexxa 4800 Flatbed Scanner is very standard as far as looks go but handles virtually all types of materials to scan, if you placed your hand on the screen it would even scan that clearly.
The scan range (resolution) is anything between 50 and 4800 DPI which I'm sure for anyone is more than enough, besides which the high end resolutions would take enormous amounts of memory and super powerful computers to be any use.
For most people the Dexxa 4800 is ideal and will work easily...

Epson DX4800 All In One Printer/Copier/Scanner
Advantages: Easy to Install and Use, Array Of Functions, Good Value.
Disadvantages: Lacks a Display to View Photos.
...The Epson DX4800 is a good value printer for those who want professional looking documents and photos. It is easy to install, just simply plug it in a spare USB socket in your computer and install the bundled software! Once setup you have access to an array of features including a photo printer, scanner and copier. The best part is, you don't even need a computer to use the copier and photo printing functions. The copier function simply consists of placing the document you wan't to copy in the copy/scanner bay and deciding what size paper you want and whether you want to copy in black and white or colour. Simple! Photo printing is even easier, with a built in memory card reader to print of your favourite snaps from your digital camera. The only thing the printer does lack infact, is a display to view your photos before printing. To scan...

great for pro photographers
Advantages: Professional A2 printing for under £1000.
Disadvantages: Large size, but not compared to other A2 printers
...for smaller Epson printers which often only contain about 8ml of ink. If you are doing a lot of printing the Epson pro 4800 might be a better choice with it's larger 240ml cartridges and the ability to use roll paper.
All in this is a great printer ....

The Pro's Of Pro Namel
Advantages: Helps to strengthen tooth enamel. Improves general oral health.
Disadvantages: Steep pricetag. Potentially leaky cap.
...After recently visiting the dreaded dentist, I was informed that I had a major problem with acid erosion on the enamel of my teeth, which means basically that my teeth are being worn away at a worrying rate. As a result, when reading a magazine, which my girlfriend had bought, I noticed an advert for a new toothpaste from Sensodyne designed to combat acid erosion. That toothpaste was called Sensodyne Pro Namel.
Firstly, a touch of sciency healthy stuff: -
Acid erosion is now a problem affecting more and more people here in Britain. With more fizzy drinks being consumed, the problem is only going to get worse, and even stuff like acidic fruit (oranges, lemons etc) can cause a problem, as can anything with citric acid as a preservative in. Even brushing your teeth to vigorously can cause them to wear away at an increased rate. One...

Review - The HTC Touch Pro 2
Advantages: well designed, good touchscreen, good QWERTY keypad, improved sofware, good widescreen display
Disadvantages: Expensive, no spec bump, no flash module, heavy
... HTC Touch Pro 2
It wasn't all too long ago that I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of HTC's first Touch Pro handset, but when I did get my hands on it I was a little disappointed. I obviously wasn't the only one as I now have in my hand the new version, the HTC Touch Pro2. Even with its improved software and a very nicely designed tilt screen, I still needed to be convinced this was a serious alternative to competitive Smartphone's like the iPhone 3GS, Nokia N97 and the host of available BlackBerry's.
Design and Features
There is no denying that the new Pro2 is a very visually appealing handset, the 3.6 inch touchscreen allows for a 480x800 widescreen VGA resolution, using a customised version of the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Although it is very 'business' like in appearance, its metal and black...

Pro Elegance - Pretty but not the best
Advantages: Does straighten hair pretty well
Disadvantages: Cheap feel, heat functions dodgy, quite pricey for what you get!!
...I was bought these straighteners after my last pair literally blew up!! I have naturally curly hair so life without straighteners is just unimaginable!!
They look very stylish and the colour makes them look just like the description Pro Elegance, but they feel very plastic like when you pick them up and they are very light (one feature that is useful when you have to spend an hour with your hands above your head so to speak).
They come complete with a heat protective mat, case and hair clips again all in the bronze colour, these are useful tools.
They have three different heat settings but the dots rubbed off after a few uses so I now have no idea which is which so I often end up burning my hair as I accidently put it on the wrong setting, mmm whats that smell!!!!
They have a reasonable cable length which most don...

Pro relief? No relief
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Stabbing pains in teeth, worsening sensitivity
...I am a Bzzagent and I'm reviewing the toothpaste distributed in their latest campaign. I was sent a full sized sample of Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief, and some small samples to give out to friends and family.
What does this toothpaste do?
In a nutshell it's supposed to help against sensitivity by blocking tubules which, when you see the microscopic drawing, look like little holes in the tooth along the gum line. 'The open tubules are a pathway to sensitive pain' according to Colgate, and the toothpaste provides occlusion of dentine tubules.
Using the Toothpaste
You use the toothpaste as you would any other, brushing twice a day, paying particular attention to the gum line. You can also dab a small amount on any particularly sensitive areas close to the gum, using a small amount place on the finger tip and massaging...
