The Football master reclaims it's Crown
Advantages: Outstanding Graphics, Great Gameplay, Updated Game Modes
Disadvantages: Some Old Animations linger
...The pro Evo Series has been dissapointing us way back since 2007, each year since FIFA has since become top dogs and pro evolution fans have had to hang their heads in shame. However all that has changed as Pro evolution steals back it's crown as king of the football franchises.
The game recieved a major overhaul and now sports many licensed teams, gorgeuos graphics and updated modes. The creators took every word from fans on what they wanted so as not to dissapoint and boy they didn't.
First off the game looks great. Each player looks realistic and shirts and shorts crease and snd fold really nicely. The pitches and stadiums look wonderful but you won't really be interested in this detail, but it does look wonderful. A big step up in the graphics department.
The main gameplay has also been slightly tweeked. The game sports...

Sensible Pro Evolution Soccer!
Advantages: It's Pro Evolution Soccer, in handheld format for crying out loud...
Disadvantages: Some long loading times and a lack of a Master League likely to put some fans off...
...So, the second best football game ever made gets a release on the PSP. For shame that few remember the gloriously addictive Sensible Soccer (from the halcyon days of the Amiga) as the title would be perfect for Sony's venture into the arena of handheld and portable gaming. Small, compact and simple, the endeavour would surely make the most out of the platform given the power of the PSP. Instead we have Pro Evolution Soccer, Konami's yearly updated monster for the Playstation 2, which in many ways is akin to playing virtual football. A fantastic game by all accounts, but, given the range and depth of the football on show - including numerous cup competitions, individual player data, the much loved Master League and barnstorming realism in the graphics department - its conversion to the PSP would seem as tricky as a FA Cup third round away...

Celebratory Pro Evolution Soccer 6
Advantages: Flawless Gameplay, Unrivalled Multiplayer
Disadvantages: Unlicensed Teams, Accustomization Difficulty
...Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is actually the *tenth* installment of Konami's hit football series. Winning Eleven publishes every summer in Japan, is then localized and optimized, renamed and shipped here to Europe, only to go through the same procedure again in order to find its way to American stores as "World Soccer: Winning Eleven [Number]". Even if incessant touring like this hampers the likes of Real Madrid, it apparently works just fine for PES as it just keeps getting better and better. Although it is forever doomed to sell less than the impeccably presented FIFA, Pro Evolution will not have to worry about coming in first to the educated football fan's heart for at least one more year.
***The Gameplay***
There is one thing and one thing only that sets Pro Evolution apart and makes it the choice game for virtually all video...

Pro Evolution Soccer Review
Advantages: New graphics, New game modes, Realism
Disadvantages: No licences, Slow internet play, Referees
...This years edition offers more in the graphics department . The difference in this version of Pro Evolution Soccer is the addition of the champions league and the new licensed teams. Manchester United and Liverpool are the fully licensed teams this year. The gameplay is still slow but also deliberate.
There are more ways to play the game witch includes Become A Legend, you play as one player on the pitch making your way through the ranks of your club and moving between clubs throughout your career. Designing everything from the way you look and the way you wear your kit. The game keeps the same modes as the last version with the likes of Master League, Cups and Leagues. The Champions League mode has been added and if very realistic, with the music and appearance of it.
There is always the same argument when a new football game...

KONMAI PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER
Advantages: STILL THE SAME ENTERTANING GAME PLAYS.
Disadvantages: WOULD HAVE MADE ENTIRE DIFFERENCE.
...I would not doubt the fact that some fundamental mechanism of the game has changed like the movement, shootings and the scoring difficulties. Since konami got the praises from the previous pro evolution installations by fans, they have been using almost the same formula in other installations. But If I may ask, don't we need some thing entirely different? Yes we pro evolution fans do need some thing different although the game play is still like the previous versions. Not trying to put the fact that the pro evolution 6 is not a masterpiece of its own but we need some changes in game.
Lets take EA FIFA as a very good example, previously, FIFA never had good plans for good game plays for their soccer games but as they release soccer games, you see changes in the game play, player physic, and other game features until now when they...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
Advantages: little improvement to previos version, new features, close looks, players intellegence movement etc ....
Disadvantages: online offline lagging, some unnecessary stuff, techniques, problem selling etc...
....
I waited for "Pro Evolution Soccer 2008" for 3 days after its release. My university assignments were making trouble in the way. I know 3 days are not too long enough but for this game, it made me mad. Because, PES 2008 version was the first release on PS3 console. I was thinking of the changes they might have made. But finally after my assignments were done, I straight away went to high street to buy some games, of which PES 2008 was on top priority. I couldn't wait to play this game.
The first time I turned on the game it made me feel bad about this game. I didn't liked the start menu, it was too colorful having big fonts. I don't know why they don't try to enhance their menu system.
And it looks even stranger in my big 60" inch HD TV. At that moment it was coming into my mind, "FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION"?. If...

Long term addiction shows no sign of abating
Advantages: An amazingly addictive game with endless possibilities
Disadvantages: Online play can be a poor experience
...INTRODUCTION
Generally speaking, I have only ever been interested in 2 games series on the Playstation: Grand Theft Auto and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). This may well be why I have never written a games review before. Since the old days of the PS1, with International Superstar Soccer, I have followed with great keenness the various incarnations of this great game over the years; ISS became ISS Pro Evolution which moved onto the PS2 to become Pro Evolution Soccer. I had 4 versions of this on the PS2, buying each new version with metronomic regularity. For some reason, I never moved past PES5 on the PS2, becoming deeply involved in the Master League subplot, where you can build a team in your own image. It was difficult to move on from a side of serial winners, regularly hoovering up every trophy going with reliable ease. That was...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
Advantages: Strong graphics, good gameplay, wide spectrum of AI
Disadvantages: Poor online capabilities, still lacking a fully licencsed lineup
...The PES series of football games are often said to be the best of the bunch, with game play better than FIFA games, even if the graphics aren't quite up to scratch and at the cost of all the teams not being licensed.
Well PES 2008 is a good game, no doubt about that, and being the first next gen PES, it had high expectations to live up to.
Well the graphics in the game are certainly good enough for next gen, with players moving with greater fluidity and more naturally than the previous outing, PES 6, and theres a fair few teams too, however compare it with the latest FIFA outing, and it seems distinctly average.
The Premiership remains unlicensed, apart from player names, and not even all the international teams have the correct player names, however we have come to expect that from PES games so lets put that aside and focus...
