...This is a great game i baught this the day it came out the reason i have not given the game 5/5 is because of all the bugs and poor designing the ps3 version of this game has. i love the game it is so addictive and the gameplay is excelent, the players move like they do in real life and you can do so many different skills you can do in real life. One of the main reason i baught this game is because of the online play it has instead of havin your friends round all the time you can still play when they are not at your house. you can play them online or any random person online so you can improve. But sadly this is not the case as konami have designed a very bad, online is more or less unplayable. It is so slow and choppy the players and ball dissappears and appears somewere else.   Sensible Pro Evolution Soccer!

Advantages: It's Pro Evolution Soccer, in handheld format for crying out loud...
Disadvantages: Some long loading times and a lack of a Master League likely to put some fans off...

...So, the second best football game ever made gets a release on the PSP. For shame that few remember the gloriously addictive Sensible Soccer (from the halcyon days of the Amiga) as the title would be perfect for Sony's venture into the arena of handheld and portable gaming. Small, compact and simple, the endeavour would surely make the most out of the platform given the power of the PSP. Instead we have Pro Evolution Soccer, Konami's yearly updated monster for the Playstation 2, which in many ways is akin to playing virtual football. A fantastic game by all accounts, but, given the range and depth of the football on show - including numerous cup competitions, individual player data, the much loved Master League and barnstorming realism in the graphics department - its conversion to the PSP would seem as tricky as a FA Cup third round away...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

Advantages: little improvement to previos version, new features, close looks, players intellegence movement etc ....
Disadvantages: online offline lagging, some unnecessary stuff, techniques, problem selling etc...

.... I waited for "Pro Evolution Soccer 2008" for 3 days after its release. My university assignments were making trouble in the way. I know 3 days are not too long enough but for this game, it made me mad. Because, PES 2008 version was the first release on PS3 console. I was thinking of the changes they might have made. But finally after my assignments were done, I straight away went to high street to buy some games, of which PES 2008 was on top priority. I couldn't wait to play this game. The first time I turned on the game it made me feel bad about this game. I didn't liked the start menu, it was too colorful having big fonts. I don't know why they don't try to enhance their menu system. And it looks even stranger in my big 60" inch HD TV. ...I've played all the Pro Evo games since Pro Evo 3 and have always enjoyed the series. This update doesnt change dramatically from pro evo 6, but it is still brilliant. The graphics are much better than the previous version on ps2, the graphics are good but the crowd still looks appauling (although the players do look quite good) The game is also well suited to all abilities, if you're new to football games, or pro evo, then you can play on *, or if you're very good then you can play on ***** (which is very difficult) (and there are difficulties in between ...**, *** and ****) . Each difficulty offers more challenges than the last, with * having a very poor opposition and the opposition on ***** being very difficult to break down. ...I will admit to not having owned the entire series of Pro Evolution Soccer games. However, I have played all of them since 2005 and I sincerely believe that they have improved in those four years. As the title of the game suggests, it is a soccer game. The user can play in a variety of gameplay modes. The various modes create a sense of challenge and allow the user to do almost anything they want, within the confines of the game. Since the beginning of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, there has definately been an improvement in the graphics. Notably, the game has also become more realistic, making the signings of new players harder to accomplish and making the gameplay a far closer representation of the modern day football match. ...Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is actually the *tenth* installment of Konami's hit football series. Winning Eleven publishes every summer in Japan, is then localized and optimized, renamed and shipped here to Europe, only to go through the same procedure again in order to find its way to American stores as "World Soccer: Winning Eleven [Number]". Pro Evolution 2008 vs Fifa 2008

Advantages: Excellent realism and gameplay.

...Where to start with Pro Evolution Soccer 8? I'm sure most of you have heard or asked the question...Pro Evo or Fifa? Don't lie you know that's why you're here! I've generally always bought both Fifa and Pro Evo games, mainly because I couldn't just pick one as they are both excellent in their own ways. I will now attempt to find differences in the games and eventually pick the better one....here goes.... Controls Pro Evolution brings more realism than ever in the new installment. Ball control is brilliant but can be a bit confusing at first if you are new at the game. The controls can take a bit of getting used to. But once you've mastered that gameplay is superb. The right choice of button and you can get the ball exactly where you want it. New skill controls have been added which I feel has always been what the game lacked...

Advantages: Strong graphics, good gameplay, wide spectrum of AI
Disadvantages: Poor online capabilities, still lacking a fully licencsed lineup

...The PES series of football games are often said to be the best of the bunch, with game play better than FIFA games, even if the graphics aren't quite up to scratch and at the cost of all the teams not being licensed. Well PES 2008 is a good game, no doubt about that, and being the first next gen PES, it had high expectations to live up to. Well the graphics in the game are certainly good enough for next gen, with players moving with greater fluidity and more naturally than the previous outing, PES 6, and theres a fair few teams too, however compare it with the latest FIFA outing, and it seems distinctly average. The Premiership remains unlicensed, apart from player names, and not even all the international teams have the correct player names, however we have come to expect that from PES games so lets put that aside and focus...
