...Intro. ? ~ ? ~ ? ~ ? ~ ? ~ ? ~ ? ~ This is a review of the Logic3 PRO dance mat, a better and ?meaner? version of the Logic3 dance mat. A dance mat is a video game controller made specifically for dance games such as Dancing Stage (UK version of Dance Dance Revolution), although they can be used with regular games. Dance games can be found for the PC, XBox, Playstation, PS2, some connect directly to the TV, and maybe some for some other games consoles, but the Logic3 Pro mat I am reviewing is for the Playstation (PSX) or Playstation 2 (PS2). I?ve only got a PSX so have used the mat on that. You can use a regular joypad/joystick with dance games but that would be no fun. Logic Pro 7.2 - A Must for any serious producers!

Advantages: Apple loops (acidized, royalty free) Audio instruments, Manual, Re-wire and auto save feature
Disadvantages: Takes a while of getting used to, possiblities of crashing when running 're-wire'

...Logic Pro 7.2 in my opinion, is the best music production and recording application on the market today. It has so many features that makes it almost impossible to top. I have used many different music applications, ranging from fruity loops, to reason, to cubase to sonar. I also used them on different operating systems, but I always come back to logic pro 7.2 on the Imac. Get a dance mat that isn't naff!

Advantages: Quality and looks.
Disadvantages: Can move around a bit.

.... (2) The mat could do with being a bit more rigid, as I find the corners tend to curl up a bit when standing in the middle (this probably contributes to the mat wandering about). (3) The general consensus on mat storage is that you should keep it flat and not pack it back up often, so you minimise the risk of damage to the relatively delicate circuitry inside the mat. Since I have alot of things around my TV (lots of computers things and electricity) I didnt want any sort of crosstalk (disturbance on the cable from other electrical devices- its quite rare now but not unheard of) I made sure that i got a double shielded wire, the best one of these that i could find was the Belkin PRO series. This basically means that it has 2x the amount of protective sheath around the cable so that nothing can get through and distort the signal. More logical than using the washing machine
