The Flawed Programme (In My Opinion)

Advantages: Some interesting information and history on foods
Disadvantages: Cant see the foods, what I see as being snobbery, read the review for the rest

...- Introduction - Okay so let me start by saying that it is a tradition in my household that the food programme is always played while me and my parents sit down for sunday lunch. I think my mum finds it interesting and as it follows on from whats usually the 'funnies' at noon (I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue etc.), we keep it on (plus so we can hear the main news and weather at 1pm). This has been a tradition lasting many years, as far as I can remember and the other tradition linked to this show, im afraid to say, has been the almost weekly moaning and complaining by either my dad and/or me and my dad about aspects of this show. Infact, while it was being broadcast today and my dad was saying the same usual comments (which I'll get on to later), I thought that he should vent by posting a review to let everyone know what he thinks...

Top Programme

Advantages: good programme
Disadvantages: none

...challenge, drive a particular car around the Top Gear track, and get their best lap time out of three laps that were driven. It is fairly amusing and so many celebrities have now taken part that the leader board is getting rather full. I do believe it is Jay-K that is the leader and with a good lap time, that anyone will find hard to beat. Although I pretend to dislike the programme and have a little moan to my partner every time he makes me sit through it, usually after it has finished I tend to find myself thinking how much I enjoyed watching it. I think I will still tell him that I do not like the programme though because then we get to watch something I want to watch for an hour where as if I said I liked to watch it we would be on par with the TV stands. ...Postman Pat - Special Delivery Service (SDS)... Postman Pat seems to have got far better working conditions than ever before and this is clearly shown in his brand new children's television programme aired on BBC2 weekday mornings at 8.30am. Jack and I think that the whole show is truly brilliant and we have even set our set top box to record every episode as we are both well and truly hooked. Truely Hair Raising!

Advantages: New take on reality TV
Disadvantages: BAD HAIR!!!!!

...Last year I was one of the many who walked through the doors of The Salon and left with a brand new hair do! I am going to give a review on my experience at The Salon and the different view gain when you are on the box and not just watching it. The Salon graced our TV at 6pm Monday ? Friday and of course at around 11am on T4 Sunday! They also had the Late Night salon! This were all the rude bits and fowl language gets shown! Very informative

Advantages: Interesting, absorbing
Disadvantages: Sometimes a bit dull

...It's ages since I've watched this programme so apologies if some of the things I'm going to say are out of date. However, I used to love this BBC 2 business programme which went out on Sunday evenings. The shows they did were really interesting and very informative and they presented things in a really user friendly way and made even complicated stories easy to understand. They gave authoritative views on the issed of the day and they had a nice human touch now - I miss it. I'll just have to go back and get addicted all over again - if it's still on that is - here's hoping! I don't remember any other programmes of this kind which were halfway near as good....

If only I was braver....

Advantages: great reality tv
Disadvantages: not on enough

........I would go and have a free hair cut! This programme just happens to be on at the right time of day, just after Neighbours on Channel 4 at 6pm Monday to Friday, this is the right time for me to watch it as I wash up after having just had my dinner and as we have the portable television in the kitchen at the moment I am slowly and surely becoming addicted to this weird programme. Why weird? Top Programme

Advantages: Comedy aspect, good fun.
Disadvantages: Only an hour long.

...guessed it, cars! How do they afford all this equipment and cars you ask? Well thats probably something to do with the millions of viewers this show has accumulated over the past 21 years! An estimated 10 million viewers tune in every week to admire their favourite presenters battle it out on this family-orientated bed-time show. Top Gear's mystery racing driver is known only as 'The Stig'. Whenever he is shown, which is usually on every programme, he always wheres his stylish white helmet. Will we ever get to know this lengends true identity?! All that is known at this time, all that anyone has managed to squeeze from the Top Gear community, is that The Stig was changed, due to the origional Stig suffering heart problems... Becoming a Programmer

Advantages: Lots of Information - Programming, Games
Disadvantages: None

.... **** Medium Level **** Contains the famous languages C and C++ and not forgetting JAVA. These languages are cryptic and beginners to programming should not mess with them. They are hard to learn and require time and energy. Most programming gurus stick with Medium level languages (im currently learning C). Medium languages are the excellent choice for anybody wishing to become a programmer for a job. To learn these, tutorials are not enough and you should definatly buy a book considering your language. **** Low Level **** These are pure cryptic and are very hard to learn. To achive results with these will take years and are just not worth it. If you manage to learn assembly it would look excellent, if you were looking for a job and your papers said expert-assembly programmer. With assembly, you dont create variables... you tell...
