...This is a great controller jus like the classic ps1/ps2 the design stayed the same. This is the perfect controller i can not say anything about the slick design. As you may know this controller is wireless so you may use it from newere in the room so no messy wires hanging around. And the batttery lasts very long i dont have to charge it very often but i dont play hours every day either. Only bad this about this controller is that unlike the ps1/ps2 controllers this does not have dual shock so no rumble :(.This is because sony could not get rights for the technology. Sony what happened? Well good news this controller is being released again next year as Dual Shock 3 is comming out. Sixaxis controller

...I have owned a playstation 3 for a number of years now with a sixaxis controller. The controller is extreamly suffisticated as well as all of the normal buttons which are used for conventional gameplay it also contains a gyroscope which monitors its position and movements in six axis, clever hey. The sxiaxis motion control offers a new way to play games and makes things more interesting and more challenging. For example when playing a racing game with a friend and we get a little bored we may play a game where we just use the motion control which makes it alot more challenging and adds alot of amusement. ...When you think of a games console you think heavy, uncomfortable and always getting tangled in wires. Well not the PS3 sixaxis controller. The first point of interest is the wireless cabability of the controller. The controller uses bluetooth which allows a constant stream of information from the controller to the PS3 with no lag time. The second is because it is bluetooth the range of the controller is about 20m, you will never need this much length but it means there will be no-where in the room that you can't use it. PS3 Sixaxis Controller

...I don't think there's that much that can be said about this specific product...it's a controller. However, I'll give an account of my experiences of this controller over the past two years. I got two of these sixaxis controllers free with my PS3 so was able to rotate between using one and charging the other, hopefully allowing me to prolong the usability of the contollers. Unfortunately, after about a year and a half ( and many hours of use, 200+ ) the left analogue stick on both controllers began to squeak and stick. I'm pretty sure the analogue bashing involved in Beijing Olympics contributed highly to this. The main disadvantages of this for me is when I'm playing Call of Duty and I'm hiding behind an object and without realising have begun slowly moving out into the open. Official Sixaxis Controller Review

Advantages: Motion sensors - Looks great - light - trigger buttons - playstation button - easy to charge

...Instead of re-designing the controller for the next system in sony's line up they stayed with their playstation 2 design whcih worked so well. Early pictures showed a boomerang controller design which I for one am so glad they did not decide to manufacture. The new playstation 3 sixaxis controller looks great. It feels extremely light and confortable in any size hands. Although it feels light it is still sturdy and durable with the buttons feeling as good as ever. ...a very good controller. The controller can be brought from any good gaming shop or online from retailers like Amazon or play.com and costs around £28. There are other controllers on the market which are cheaper, but as yet none offers a rumble pack. Design wise the layouts are simiar as well, so if you buy a TechNet TP3-333 controller you will find that it's very similar to Sony's. It's really down to whether you prefer sticking to Sony where you know what you'll get or trying a cheaper option, which may be as good. Your choice....

...I am extreamly made up with this new controllers for the playstation 3, the good points: 1) the reaction time between the controller and the console is so responsive its like it is connected via a wire. 2) the motion sensors are well balanced and the new triggers are a welcomed addition.3) The controller has a very long battery life. Downsides 1) its a shame that each controller does not have its own charger this would make it much easier to charge rather then having to share the one lead which is included with the consol. 2) its a great shame that the sixaxis controler does not have a rumble pack intergrated but I do believe that the next model will. 3) For me the fact that the controller(s) do not turn themselves off when they have not been used for a coulple of minutes is a shame this would be a great addition however I really like...

...I bought a Playstation 3 around 4 months ago and, so far I can't fault the SIXAXIS controller for what I use it for. They've bascally kept the original Playstation 2 controller but made it wireless and added the SIXAXIS system to it. This is a motion sensor that is built in to the controller which senses which way you are leaning the controller and moves as you do but to be honest I found this pretty pointless due to not needing it at all, it just makes the game so much harder. I've tried using it with a few games and with some it's better than others but I still stick to the original normal controls as I find them a lot easier to use. So quite frankly my opinion is, I'm glad they've kept the controller the same as from the PS2 but thought that the addition of the SIXAXIS system was a bit of a waste of time unless the game...

...I purchased the Nintendo Wii after weeks of searching the internet for a shop that hadnt sold out and once i found one available i bought it immediately. The package came with Wii sports and a remote controller and i have to say that i was quite impressed. The controllers work well with the console and in particular with wii sports. The biggest issue that i have with the remote is the battery issue. Whilst the batteries do last a long time when installed, to keep replacing them costs a fortune. I also have had this problem with my xbox 360 wireless controllers and would recommend anybody who was buying the controllers to also consider a quick charge kit to accompany it. The unit is very responsive and works very well, this depends on where you put the sensor that is supplied with the wii so make sure that you read the manual carefully...
