...I purchased the Nintendo Wii after weeks of searching the internet for a shop that hadnt sold out and once i found one available i bought it immediately. The package came with Wii sports and a remote controller and i have to say that i was quite impressed. The controllers work well with the console and in particular with wii sports. The biggest issue that i have with the remote is the battery issue. Whilst the batteries do last a long time when installed, to keep replacing them costs a fortune. I also have had this problem with my xbox 360 wireless controllers and would recommend anybody who was buying the controllers to also consider a quick charge kit to accompany it. The unit is very responsive and works very well, this depends on where you put the sensor that is supplied with the wii so make sure that you read the manual carefully...

...This is a great controller jus like the classic ps1/ps2 the design stayed the same. This is the perfect controller i can not say anything about the slick design. As you may know this controller is wireless so you may use it from newere in the room so no messy wires hanging around. And the batttery lasts very long i dont have to charge it very often but i dont play hours every day either. Only bad this about this controller is that unlike the ps1/ps2 controllers this does not have dual shock so no rumble :(.This is because sony could not get rights for the technology. Sony what happened? Well good news this controller is being released again next year as Dual Shock 3 is comming out. So if you can wait i strongly urge you wait for it to come out as it is a great feature. The feeling for the game is lost without dual shock. Need...

Coming in a primarily gray colour with a black back and trim (including most of the buttons), the device is well laid out and simple to navigate. At the top are the On/Off button, the Sky Button and the TV button (allowing you to control the TV with the remote instead of needing both a TV remote and a Sky remote lying about the place). Below that are the direct menu buttons to the TV guide, Box Office, Services and Interactive, of these the TV guide button will be the one that gets the vast work out, with Box Office getting the occasional use just prior to major boxing contests for myself. The tactics he employs to help him in his quest are once again described so accurately that you just know that Andy McNab is writing from experiences he gained in his time with the SAS. The suspense in the book is in some chapters absolutely amazing with the reader not knowing which way it is going to go and it is literally impossible to put the book down. However, at the “end” of the chase you finally think that it is all over and everyone is going to live happily ever after when the story takes another dramatic turn and shoots off once again to keep you hanging on to the last page. All in all an excellent read full of action, suspense and drama. There’s even a little bit of comedy thrown in here and there for good measure. My only regret is that I read Crisis 4 before Remote Control as it spoilt...

...forgiven for thinking you were watching a very good DVD player doing all the work for you and the added control of the remote also lends itself toward the impression of a proper stand-alone system. Everything about the setup is what you would expect from a DVD player. The only gripe here is that when setting the PS2 to down-convert an anamorphic image to letterbox for a standard 4:3 television, the down-conversion introduces some stair stepping and jaggies known as aliasing. With most other Sony DVD players, this 'characteristic' is not present. This is yet another excuse for you to buy that widescreen TV you have always wanted. ...I don't think there's that much that can be said about this specific product...it's a controller. However, I'll give an account of my experiences of this controller over the past two years. I got two of these sixaxis controllers free with my PS3 so was able to rotate between using one and charging the other, hopefully allowing me to prolong the usability of the contollers. Unfortunately, after about a year and a half ( and many hours of use, 200+ ) the left analogue stick on both controllers began to squeak and stick. I'm pretty sure the analogue bashing involved in Beijing Olympics contributed highly to this. The main disadvantages of this for me is when I'm playing Call of Duty and I'm hiding behind an object and without realising have begun slowly moving out into the open. ...The Sony RM AV3000 is a dynamic peice of equiptment. It mimics the remote control of loads of devices. By using the touch screen control, it reduces the shown buttons to only the ones you require for the device you are controling, instead of having hundreds of buttons for every option which i found mind blowing on competitor units. Be aware though its a big peice of equiptment, it looks more like a desk top calculator on your sofa arm than a remote control, the clever boffins have made the infared so strong that you don't have to point it in any particular direction so it can just stay next to you on the sofa arm; your device will pick up the signal easily. The controller is extreamly suffisticated as well as all of the normal buttons which are used for conventional gameplay it also contains a gyroscope which monitors its position and movements in six axis, clever hey. ...a very good controller. The controller can be brought from any good gaming shop or online from retailers like Amazon or play.com and costs around £28. There are other controllers on the market which are cheaper, but as yet none offers a rumble pack. Design wise the layouts are simiar as well, so if you buy a TechNet TP3-333 controller you will find that it's very similar to Sony's. It's really down to whether you prefer sticking to Sony where you know what you'll get or trying a cheaper option, which may be as good. Your choice....
