Sanyo PLC-SU20 A Good All-Rounder
Review of Sanyo PLC SU20 by
taylora-2006
Advantages: Very Robust, Well Constructed, Will Last A Lifetime!
Disadvantages: No lamp counter
...Sanyo PLC-SU20
The Sanyo PLC-SU20 multimedia projector is one of the best projectors in the world. Immediately, you are now going to be wondering why?!?!?! It's bulky, it's not very aesthetically appealing and it's hardly the best spec. in the world. But this is such a reliable projector!
I have owned several of these projector and not one has let me down. They just seem to go and go without fault. The projector's are very robustly made as it has been designed for portability.
The projector has a very handy fold out handle. This is very strong so you have no worries about it breakig after continuous use, When it's not in use, the handle folds away and sits flush with the side of the projector and is hardly noticeable.
This is one of Sanyo's earliest portable projectors. You can understand Sanyo's ranges quite easily. Every...

Quality projector, features for the user
Review of Sanyo PLC XU48 by
gs.2003
Advantages: User friendly, Bright and good quality
Disadvantages: A recommended 3 metres from the screen or wall etc
...you can flip or rotate the picture to be the right way up, even if the image would normally be upside down).
There are plenty of sockets and connectors. You can connect the standard data cable (or VGA - Visual Graphics Array) to your laptop from the projector. You get audio and video sockets, which can be used to connect your VCR, DVD, etc upto it to have your own home cinema. The audio quality is fantastic and because it is either at the front or above your head you get a strong quality from the projector.
I have to say that Sanyo projector is quiet, well quieter than most projectors. You still get the fan noise, but isn't to bad.
Overall I would recommend this projector not so much on cost, but the features and useability....

Toshiba TLP-S30 A Form Over Function Projector
Review of Toshiba TLP S30 by
taylora-2006
Advantages: Looks Great - Very Stylish, Compact & Very Light.
Disadvantages: Not Bright Enough At All
...The Toshiba TLP-S30 Projector
This projector is very aesthetically pleasing, it looks very modern and and the face of it looks to be a great projector.
There are several important factors to look at when considering buying a projector and that is the brightness. This projector boasts a 1400 lumen lamp. For those of you who aren't used to projector terminology, lumens are just a unit for the measure of how bright the bulb in a projector is (and lamp is just the correct term for a projector bulb) Now this isn't an amazing brightness, but the Sanyo PLC-SU20 (just as an example) works comfortably at 1200 lumens and around 1500 lumens is really what somebody new to projectors should probably be looking at.
So the brightness of this projector is good then you woul think. Well actually no; On paper the projector should perform very...

Widescreen Stylish TV by Sanyo
Review of Sanyo 28 WN 6 by
mikeuk
Advantages: Widescreen, 3D Nicam stereo, well designed, price
Disadvantages: Sound quality could be better
...I recently had to buy a replacement television set and decided to upgrade from a traditional television ‘square box’ picture format to a widescreen model. Price was an important factor since my budget couldn’t stretch to a plasma or LCD screen.
For £279 I managed to settle on a Nicam stereo 28” Widescreen television by Sanyo. This seemed to be a sensible compromise, trading off value and quality. I don’t really watch too much television to justify spending anything above a few hundred pounds. Rather than buy from a high street retailer, I searched the Internet and found a leading discount UK supplier: www.empiredirect.co.uk
Over recent years the electronics market has become even more competitive than ever before, so it’s amazing how much little money will buy such a good deal. The Sanyo TV set replaced a Philips Nicam...

Sanyo CG65 - A Jack of All Trades, Master of None!
Review of Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG65 by
MurphmanL
Advantages: Excellent Form Factor, Fairly Decent Stills, Voice Guidance , Good Video In Good Lighting.
Disadvantages: Poor Quality in Low Light, Battery life Could be Better!
...to clean camera, camera pouch, software cds and utilities, and a 780mah li-on sanyo battery which is supposedly good for around 60 minutes use. There is no viewfinder, so this is quoted with teh LCD screen on for framing shots.
be aware there is only 18mb internal memory, but the camera supports SDHC memory cards currently up to 8gb in size, i stuck a 2gb transfllash into mine using an adaptor.
The battery comes with its own external charger, or you can charge the camera throguh the dock. So I charged it, and then proceeded to my party.
I wont bore you all with the goings on at the party, but upon returning I was eager to hook the sanyo up and test out what i'd snapped.
To be honest - photographs were very good with adequate lighting, they were detailed and with relatively little digital noise in the image. Iso is also automatically...

Sanyo 28WN6B
Review of Sanyo 28 WN 6 by
hayslad
Advantages: Stylish, good picture, price
Disadvantages: sound quality
...I was looking for my first widescreen television and, after a very poor experience with a Toshiba from Comet which eventually went back for a full refund, I settled on this television from Powerhouse.
I am no expert and I had not got a lot of money to spend. My criteria were that it had to be 28" (because I did not fancy peering at a screen that was less tall than my old standard shape television) it had to be stereo, it had to be affordable (i.e., around £300) and, ideally, it had to sound good.
The Sanyo came at the right price (though a stand was an extra £40) and, to my mind at least, looks very smart. It is not a flat screen, but it looks like one and only close up examination reveals that it is not. The way the television fits together with the stand is very pleasing visually and not difficult physically. I had to assemble...

Sanyo To Go
Review of Sanyo 21DN5 by
paul6361
Advantages: Ease of Set up/Installation
Disadvantages: No Complaints
...This is my second review so should be gaining experience..
I bought this television 2 years ago from Littlewoods Home Shopping Limited for 249.99 pounds(does anybody know how i can get a pound symbol on my keyboard)..... Anyway this television when you first get it out of box and plug it in comes with what Sanyo describes as "Plug and Play".The first time you switch on the TV set, it will begin to search and store all available channels.
Initial searching and storing of channels took about 3 minutes, i have heard that sometimes the tv can get the channel list a bit mixed up but in my case didnt get any errors although it gives you the option to resort the order of channels.
This television comes with 2 scart sockets on the back of the set plus on the front of the set under the flap comes supplied with Phono-type A / V inputs...
