...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. The camera itself has a metal casing and so has a sleek feel and look to it. It's very light weight and compact making it very easy to carry around in a handbag or while, (and most importantly) taking pictures! I found that it took only 5 - 10 minutes to get the camera working from out of the box. It was so simple, I didn't take that much notice of the manual. ...bought one and left still thinking Comet had made a mistake. We rushed home and opened the box. We found inside three boxes, each product was individually packaged, considering this set was so cheap I was expecting the items to be thrown in rather more haphazardly. Inside the toaster box itself, there was the usual plastic and polystyrene wrapping, a one year guarantee and the expected user manual, which I never once looked at and think I have probably lost now. The toaster itself has black plastic casing, as well as the price of the product this was a contributing factor in buying the Proline set. Proline 2000 Third Time Lucky

Advantages: Inexpensive, Good sound and picture quality
Disadvantages: brand name has a poor track record with regards to dvd!

...Proline dvd players, it has to be said, have had a distinctly shaky start! The first model had to be recalled when it wouldn't play The Matrix. The second, sprayed gold and supposedly bug free, recently came a cropper when it wouldn't play the Gladiator features disk. Having just invested my hard earned cash in the third edition I'm hoping, for both our sakes, it'll be a case of third time lucky! Aesthetically speaking the Proline 2000 isn't the best looking bit of kit in this price bracket. Whilst Proline appear to have taken on board criticisms with the 1000 model the overall impression is still disappointing. The 2000 model is far smaller than its predecessor, ideal for a hi-fi unit, but on the downside less sturdy than it's sister. Gone too is the tacky gold finish, we now have a tacky silver finish! A brilliant way to display your digital snaps.

Advantages: Crisp excellent colour. Brilliant way to show off your snaps. A great feature
Disadvantages: No battery facility.

I prefer to use the slideshow feature which allows all of my photos to rotate every few seconds. Some people find this distracting and I guess it is down to personal taste.
