Back to polypads.

Advantages: Easy to use and wash.
Disadvantages: None.

.... Whilst this was good and they absorb sweat really well, I didn`t really find it thick enough, and it had girth straps. I then tried one of the pure sheepskin half numnahs. This was great under one of my saddles but when my ID/TB gelding outgrew the saddle and I bought a new one it caused pressure points so that had to go though it had been fantastic under the other saddle. I have tried prolite half pads. Prolite is excellent, absorbs concussion really well and sweat. However, does not dry very quickly at all, it was often still wet the next day. Then I tried a numnah with prolite in certain places in areas vulnerable to pressure. The numnah (again with girth straps) wasn`t really a good fit with the saddle, you were dictated as to where you had to put it. I think that is about it. Absolute stunner of a monitor.

Advantages: Stunning 2ms respose time and superb image quality
Disadvantages: Rubbish waste of time built in speakers. No tilt function.

...After struggling to read my 19" iilyama CRT which really was reaching the end of its life i decided to splash out on the ProLite E1900S. Well I say splash out, I was surprised at how cheaply I could pick this monitor up. The feature that swung it was the DVI input and I could't wait to see how that performed. The DVI cable is NOT included so you would need to order one separately. On connection the monitor was instantly displaying and my screen was aligned perfectly without so much as a button push. Construction is clean and nice with a balance and style to the surround. The tiny speakers sit nicely in the frame either side of the buttons. I have never used these however. I imagine they cannot perform to well so ignored them. Five buttons complete the layout 1, down, up, 2 and power. There is also a two colour LED indicator...

Amongst the best 17" TFT's

Advantages: Sharp, vibrant, sleek and attractive

...I have just moved to a TFT after I decided by 2 year old 17" Iiyama CRT was not sharp enough for 2005. Now, having entered the TFT world with this monitor, I never want to go back. The Iiyama Prolite E431S is one of the best TFT's I've ever seen or used, period. First, lets get the obvious questions out of the way: Dead Pixels? No. Hot Pixels? No. Sharp? Yes. Colourful? Yes. Bright? Yes. Slim? Yes. Expensive? No. Cheap? Definetely not. Secondly, all the above also apply to the other monitor that I ordered - which is exactly the same make and type (which is going to my brother). Iiyama's product design and QA teams have certainly done wonders.
