...I first stumbled across this little miracle cream completely by accident. Approximately six months ago, I bought some Boots No 7 cosmetics, mascara and an eye pencil, if I remember correctly. There was some sort of ?special offer? on at the time, which I wasn?t aware of ? spend £15.00 or more on Boots No 7 cosmetics and you get a free ?gift pack?, consisting of a few different No 7 products, including, nail varnish, moisturising day cream, an eye-brow pencil a make up bag, and Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Serum. I took my little booty bag home and over the following few weeks, proceeded to work my way through my bag of freebies. Protect and shine?

Advantages: Cheap, they do work if used on highest heat setting.
Disadvantages: Doesn't stay straight for long unless used at a very high temperature.

A fantastic sun protection cream!

...I have very fair skin so I burn within minutes of being in the sun, even when it doesn't look sunny I still somehow manage to burn! I have tried all sorts of different products to protect myself from burning and also the aging affects of the sun but I'm always so frustrated by having to keep reapplying the creams frequently and to still burn! Protection for my hair

Disadvantages: Can't see how much is used, can make your hair feel greasy

...I must confess that for a number of years when it comes to blow drying and straightening my hair, I have neglected the protection side of things a little bit... i.e I've not bothered at all. This all changed a couple of months ago when I was buying some new shampoo and conditioner in Boots, I wanted some from the Aussie range which at the time happened to be on a 3 for 2 offer. I ummed and arred about what freebie to choose and ending up with the Heat Protection spray. The spray comes in a white bottle which has a purple label, it has a pump spray rather than an aerosol type spray which is also purple and the lid is made from clear plastic.
