The handling is best described as realistic so if your expecting an arcade title it is better to look elsewhere but only newbies to this genre should find this a big problem. The sound effects on Colin Mcrae 04 are very realistic from the smashing of headlights when you hit obstacles to the crunching of gravel. You can easily think your in a real rally car in cockpit view mode especially as your Co-Driver navigates very accurately. Overall this is by far the best of the Colin Mcrae games and is an essential purchase. GRIPES No game is perfect so here are my gripes. 1. Handling maybe too realistic for some. 2. No spectators 3. ...I bought World rally championship from ebay as i have played this on my sisters playstation 2 and i thought it was a great game. I paid around £5 for the game and is one of my favourite games i have for my playstation 2. You can choose from a selection of cars like peugeot, ford or a skoda there are several tracks to choose from monocco, Sweden or kenya. You can play in 2 player mode which can be a great way to play against friends. You can change how you see out of the car like if you just wanted to see the road or the road and the bonnet or the whole car. Once you have chosen your car you can choos out of two people to drive the car and when you start the lap you can try and beat the lap time. ...The ps2 is a great console although it is almost10 years old. It has alot of features that anyone can use with ease. On it you can watch Movies, Play games and also play online with people around the world providing that you can internet access on it. there are a wide variety of games available for it and they are also quite cheap. The playstation itself can come quite cheap with prices starting at £40 in some shops. You might also want to get some accessories for it such as the vertical stand, the eyetoy camera and the DVD remote if you want one. The only bad points about the playstation i would say are the fact that it is quite fragile and would break easily....

...After having purchased a standard sized playstation 2 console in 2001, I decided to sell my console on ebay towards the end of 2005 when the slimline playstation 2 console was unveilled to the world. Why did I chose to sell the console that had worked for the last 4 years, for a siver slimline playstation 2? The new slimline playstation two has been reduced in size from the previous version by 75%., the weight has been halved and the and thickness trimmed down to 2.8 cm, from 7.8 cm. Equipped with an integrated Ethernet port for network gaming, the new PlayStation 2 sets new standards in the fusion of design and functionality. The slimline playstation 2 has a new flip lid instead of the motorised draw. The flid lid is a little flimsy but I suppose there was no room for a motorised draw on the slimline version. ...The Playstation 2 has sold in excess of over 100 million consoles since it was released back in 2000. When orginally released the Playstation 2 was much larger in size than the slimline version which Sony released in 2004. I am going to look into what are the benefits of the new system and look at the good and bad features. Good Features The Slimline Playstation 2 is much quieter than the original console because it simply looks much better, the slim design is better on the eye and also it is less noisy as the console does not have a fan. Instead it uses air vents to keep the console cool. It does the job to be honest because I owned the console for over 2 years and it has never crashed or overheated. Good old fashioned rally driving arcade game!

Advantages: Very cheap now, fun gameplay, lots of tracks to choose from
Disadvantages: All cars are four wheel drive, bit too arcade, co-driver is a bit slow!

...WRC II Extreme is a rally driving game which is the official WRC game and covers the 2002 season. Cars There are 7 teams that you can choose to race for in this game and they are Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Hyundai, Citroen and Skoda. There are unlockable cars which are more powerful versions. Unfortunately, there are no historic cars such as the Mini, Lancia Stratos, Ford Escort and Audi Quattros. This is a big shame since all the cars in the game are four wheel drive and therefore similar to drive. Drivers Interestingly on the box it states "21 official drivers", note it doesn't state "all drivers" or "all drivers from 7 official teams". One famous name does appear in the game and that is a certain Colin McRae. Perhaps this is because he was having rally games released under his own name at the same time...

PS/2 Slimline a real tonic from Sony

Advantages: small and sexy
Disadvantages: is it a fragile kitten

...the inboard power supply cool - that was the worst feature of the PS/2 over the PSOne in my book anyway. On the down side, the disc lid and the eject and power buttons all feel very flimsy and to properly switch the machine off you have to remove the AC lead from the back of the machine - I'm not a fan of leaving appliances on stand-by - anal I know, but remember I'm an old git of 44!!. I hope I'm wrong but I get the feeling this size and weight challenged PS/2 isn't going to be nearly as robust as the earlier model and I'd be concerned about letting small children near it. OK, so if you're not familiar with any PS/2 what can you expect? Games are backward compatible to the PSOne.
