...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...

Belfast International Airport

Advantages: Internet, Cheap car parking
Disadvantages: Can get boring after 18 hours

...Belfast International Airport (Belfast Aiport) I flew out of belfast airport around four years ago, when I did fly out of the airport it was a bad time to fly out. The day before we where to depart to orlando the shoe bomber came on the scene! So the airport secuirty was put up. But the airline I was travelling with most of their planes had Technical difficuilties. So I was delayed for 30 hours and had to stay in the Hilton over night. So I should be able to tell you enough about it as I was in it for 24 hours. Area... The Belfast airport isn't in belfast, it is closer to Antrim a city near belfast. The airport is around 12 or 13 miles away from Belfast. So I don't know why they called it Belfast International Airport. But there is a hotel beside the airport. So if you have a early flight and you coudn't be bothered to get up...

Public enemies-Johny Depp all the way!

Advantages: Johny Depp's performance
Disadvantages: Story could have been more developed

...Johny Depp is back and how! Public enemies brings Depp and Christian Bale in a biography of one of the coolest bank robbers of America. Set in the 1930s, this crime/drama is a power packed film,though slightly diluted due to its slightly longer running time(around 140 minutes). The story is very basic, Depp(as John Dillnger) and his group of men are bank robbers going around robbing banks and running away from the police, who are trying their best to entrap and catch them as soon as possible.There is actually not much time given to show how they plan or execute the robbery but its more of how they are surviving from the police after it. One of the integral parts of the film lies in the romantic angle between Depp and Marion Cotillard(Billie in the film).It is the romance which keeps Dillinger looking for more in life and the best...

Public Enemies: Depp mesmerises as Dillinger

Advantages: Johnny Depp, special effects, historically accurate.
Disadvantages: Bit slow-paced at times.

Definitely an International Airport .

Advantages: Clean ,modern,good facilities,plenty of luggage trolleys,some great views on arriving

...We flew into Faro International Airport this year after a two and a half hour flight from Humberside Airport England . Faro is situated centrally along on the Algarve coast of Portugal and so gives easy access to most of the coastal resorts . The airport is quite large and a very busy destination . As we were disembarking and being herded onto a bus to take us to the arrivals, more planes were departing and landing . There are nice gardens surrounding the airport . The views as you fly in low over the sea are quite spectacular at times and disappointing at others .The 'mud flats' look very unappealing . International Drive... Orlando

Advantages: Interesting place to be
Disadvantages: can be a bit pricey

...Well yes its me back writing again after my holidays in Florida, so I thought why not write about this wonderful Drive which is actually situated some 8 miles from Down Town Orlando. What is International Drive ? It is the one of the Major Tourist road in the Orlando Area (Orange County), just about every major Hotel chain has one or more hotels on International Drive ( called I-Drive by the locals and regulars), in between these hotels there is to be found loads of souvenir shops, Chemists and Restaurants...mainly concentrated in the central area of I-Drive from Seaworld ( at the bottom end ) to Belz Factory Outlet at the top of the central area some 4 miles between the two... The Restaurants are really good family eating places with names like Sizzlers, Ponderosa, Denny's and our favourite 'Golden Coral' offer one price help...

...Before I begin, I would just like to make it clear that I respect and hold in high regard all of the work that the various charities and in particular Amnesty International do. However, there appears to be a familiar trait occurring on every high street in Britain, something I like to call the "Clipboard Sharks". My most recent run in with the clipboard sharks came this weekend and whilst usually the Red Cross bare the brunt of my mutterings, this time it was Amnesty International........A charity I have supported many times in the past.
