Review of Ford Puma 1.7

Puma 1.6 Litre

Advantages: Excellent Handling
Disadvantages: Impractical & too small.

...You might be thinking why an opinion on a 1.6l Puma has been written under the 1.7l heading? Well, after requesting a heading for the 1.6l, I'm still waiting. So what about the car? Body wise, it is identical to the 1.7l version bar the engine. Suspension, brakes and interior are identical. The 1.6l produces about 15bhp less than the 1.7l version does. What does this mean in the real world? The 1.7l version will get from 0 to 60 in just under a second less and has a higher top end. In practise, most people do not take advantage of the additional power to spring them from 0 to 60. The power is far more useful during normal acceleration. The main difference between the two is that the 1.7l pulls better than the 1.6l meaning gear changes are less. Not much can be made of the acceleration though, when we have pocket rockets like...

Puma shin pads

Advantages: good price, attractive design, excellent protection
Disadvantages: thickness when waering in matches.

.... Puma is a great make of which I have had many things as trainers, bags and clothing, and they have all been durable yet fashionable. Although the shin pads are for protection and not what they look like, as socks when playing football mainly hide them, it's an added bonus if they look good. Just to let any lads needing some new pads these would be a highly recommended purchase as they are well tough, I have been clattered loads of times since buying them and been ok. Studs are not able to break or penetrate the plastic on the outside and the reinforcing and padding would give you extra protection if this did occur. Which I would be very surprised if it did, another point id due to the thickness you may need a size up in socks to cater for the thickness. Well thought out racing game for DS - Ferrari Challenge

Advantages: Lots of gameplay, easy to just pick up and play
Disadvantages: Gets a bit repetitive eventually

There are similar titles released for other consoles such as the Playstation 3, but this is a separately written game and has lots of good things about it. In terms of the game play, getting into the game is quite easy as the controls are easy to master. There is also a long and comprehensive tutorial section of the game so that you can get used to the car handling. Both text appears on the screen and there are audio clips to help you learn what the best racing line is and how to approach some of the corners. When playing you can get extra points for keeping the right driving line, taking corners effectively and also for smooth overtaking. Review of Ferrari Challenge (Nintendo DS)

Puma deliver with this fine shoe.

Advantages: Quality, durability, comfort.
Disadvantages: Nothiing, but try to get a lower price online.

...I should stress before starting this review that I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a bowler, so what follows is written very much from the point of view of a batsman/wicket keeper. BASIC INFORMATION The Puma Signature Full Spike is a lace up cricket shoe, and, as the name suggests, is spiked both at the toe and heel end of the shoe. It is predominantly white, with a red, black & grey trim and retails at between £40 and £60 (as usual, you'll pick up some better deals online if you search it out). The heel has 4 spikes, the toe 6, but it is possible to fit fakes to keep just the toe half spiked or to fit pimple spikes, but there are plenty of shoes out there that offer this as a basic anyway, and it would make sense that, were you looking to buy a 'full spike' shoe, you'd be looking to keep them all in!
