Prima -One of the Best!

Advantages: Covers many topics with affordable ideas
Disadvantages: You don't want to throw them out!

...Prima ? a magazine name known to many, and quite rightly so because Prima means first or leading and I feel it is a leading magazine in the area it covers and it certainly covers lots of areas. It started back in October 1986, and although at that time I thought it was expensive I did buy it as there was always a free pattern and I made a lot of my clothes in those days, so it was a bargain. This magazine has moved with the times and is bang right up to date now and is one of the popular magazines sold at most newsagents, although many people have it delivered as this is a perfect start to your day ? or used to be when post came in a morning! Prima - just for old ladies?

Advantages: Loads of ideas for your home, lots of beauty advice
Disadvantages: Some of it aimed at an older audience

(Bless him, hubby thought he knew which magazines I read, at least he got one right!) When the first issue arrived I was surprised to see how modern it looked from the front cover! Maybe my first opinion had been wrong? As I leafed through the magazine I found that it had articles ranging from...

Prima Blender PBL500C..........

Advantages: Easy and safe to use, copes well with most ingredietns, stylish looking
Disadvantages: Quite noise when in use

...I have spoken and reviewed in the past a number of my kitchen appliances and today I am reviewing my Prima Blender, model number PBL500c. I have a food processor but it has no blending attachment, whilst it can cope well with certain volumes, it seems to work better with solid foods as opposed to liquids. I have found a love of making my own cocktails, not necessarily alcoholic but I enjoy blending a fruity mix to accompany my breakfast, this combined with making my homemade soups and sauces, it was time for me to invest in a blender and after much research, I wanted one that fitted in with my price criteria and as long as it had a couple of speeds and good capacity then I would be happy. The Prima model won me over and here are my thoughts on the product. The Prima brand is one that I have heard of but not particularly familiar with...
