...Quantum of Solace is the second James Bond movie features Daniel Craig as the hero. I have now watched this movie a couple of times, once in the cinema and once on DVD and I have to say I liked it a lot better the second time round. I firstly thought that it was not as good as Casino Royale as I loved the storyline in that movie but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it again on DVD. I think in order to watch this movie you definitely need to see Casino Royale because this film picks up exactly where the other one finished off. Also, there are lots of references to some of the characters from the previous movie, such as Vespa and what went on with her and Bond. That said though, this does have a different story to it so you could watch it without having watched Quantum of Solace but it just enhances this movie if you have the prior...

Quantum of So-So

Advantages: Decent stunt work and a nice turn from Judi Dench.
Disadvantages: A lack of character development, some mediocre performances and sluggish narrative.

Although I was a little disappointed with this when I saw it at the cinema, I pre-ordered it from Amazon.co.uk without hesitatation as I think it deserves/needs a second and maybe even a third viewing to really understand and appreciate the story. It picks up where the excellent Casino Royale left off, with Bond (Daniel Craig) tracking down and capturing Mr. White, one of the key players in the death of Bond's latest squeeze, the gorgeous Vespa Lynd (Eva Green). ...Quantum of Solace I watched this movie last night with in cinemas. A much anticipated movie to Casino Royale, first time in James Bond franchisee. I watched Casino Royale and then went to this movie, just to brush up my mind on the characters. To start with this movie exactly starts after an hour where Casino Royale left. Also this movie opens up with a "Big Bang", a fast paced car chase which i must admit is really fast-paced one. It makes everyone to move to the edge of their seats> But the camera work, as quoted in other reviews is bit shaky, which makes one unconfortable to watch the film's action sequence in Bug Screen, even in small screen it would be uncomfortable in my opinion. Advantages: +Entertaining +Challenging enough for experiences players, easy enough for others

...Background The game follows the story of the two Daniel Craig James Bond movies, it starts off with Quantum of Solace and after a bit of this film you then return via a flashback to the story of Casino Royale, before returning to Quantum of Solace. The game sticks roughly to the story of the films yet there are added and removed bits in order to make it more action packed. The basic story is told though gameplay but cutscenes/briefings are also used in order to expand on the story. ...QUANTUM OF SOLACE PS3 Quick review : Overall its a respectable game. My gameplay experience Im a bond fan and i like bond games.I rented this game for two days and played this in my home PS3. The opening sequence of thi game is great and the "classical bond intro" scene where Daniel Craig walks and shoots and the Blood Curtain falls is well structured and crafted to pefection. The graphics of this scene is superb, especially bond characterisation and modeling. Quantum of Solace - Bond is back!

Advantages: Amazing stunt work and action scences

...Quantum of Solace is the 22 instalement in the James Bond franchise, and Daniel Craigs second performance as Bond himself. You could be forgiven for thinking that, especially after the previous movies with Bond being portrayed by a less than capable Pierce Brosnan, it was time for the makers of Bond to call it a day on the franchise. Quantum of Solace, however, like Casino Royale, brings bond back in style. The action is done with such and perfectly choreographed stunts and style (take the car chase for the opening scene for example) that there is rarely a dull moment. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the script (Paul Haggis, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade), were it any other movie of a similar genre the script would have worked perfectly, yet it just seemed to be lacking the key ingredient which made it characteristically a Bond...
