Advantages: History, well written, different characters
Disadvantages: Hard to read

...and quite a bit of chopping and changing but it was well worth it as I thoroughly enjoyed the subject matter and feel I know more about that time period in history now. I think the best way to learn about history is to read it in a written down, story form. It sinks in so much better if you can remember a story rather than learn lots of dates and facts and who was queen in what year and for how long...
