All rooms are equipped with en suite, tv and tea and coffee making facilities, but im sure you will only use these at night, as there are so many other places to eat and drink. Queens Hotel, Queens Staith, York, UK

Advantages: City cenre, riiverside location. Close to ameneties and attractions
Disadvantages: Potentially noisy nightlife just across the river

...My wife and I stayed at the Queens Hotel on a Saturday night, in mid-May. The hotel is quite modern, having been converted from an old warehouse in recent years, and is only 4 storeys high. It is right in the heart of the city centre, within the city walls, and is on the riverside overlooking the River Ouse. It stands directly opposite the Kings Arms pub, which is famous for getting flooded after prolonged periods of heavy rain. The Queens Hotel stands on Queens Staith, however because it has been fairly recently converted is designed not to be adversely affected by high water. As it is in the city centre there are loads of pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as 2 theatres, 2 cinemas, various museums, including the Jorvik Centre as well as the Minster etc. all within a few minutes stroll. Advantages: Excellent location
Disadvantages: Weird car-park

...would go about getting out! We did have to leave the keys on reception (so they could move the car if required - which they did as it wasn't in the same place when we returned). For us the car park wasn't too much of a problem as we didn't use the car for the break, however it was hard work getting in the small space! Staff were friendly on arrival and we were seen to our room quickly. Location The hotel is ideally located in the centre of York. It is right near the York Dungeons, only 10minutes walk from York Minster. We visited most of the main areas of interest on York and everywhere was close to the hotel. ...Getting there Our family stayed at the Queen?s Hotel Bournemouth for 2 nights back in May 2007. The drive down from North London is 112 miles and took around 3 Hours 20 Minutes which included a 30 minute stop over. The Hotel is located on Meyrick Road, just a minutes walk from the sea front and a 15 minute walk to the Pier. There is room for about 15 cars in the car park at the front of the Hotel, with room for a further 20 cars at the rear. This is free to use for guests and you give your car registration details when you check in. The hotel has 109 rooms and deluxe suites situated over 4 floors. Bentley Hotel - New York New York!!!!

Advantages: Clean, nice rooms - amazing views from roof top balcony
Disadvantages: 24 Hour coffee bar was actually a vending machine!!

...My lovely husband booked a short stay in New York for my ?surprise? 30th birthday. This was in 2002 and we went there at the beginning of October of that year. Just as a side note before I start the review of the hotel, the weather was fantastic and for much of the time we went out regularly in T-shirts. Anyway we stayed at The Bentley Hotel for the whole of our stay and overall we were impressed and enjoyed our time there. **ABOUT THE HOTEL** The Bentley is a 3 star hotel which was built in 1904 and last renovated in 2002, however I have a feeling some renovation may be going on now as the roof top restaurant has been closed until further notice. ...My boyfriend turned 30 a few weeks ago and for his present I booked us a trip to New York and the Wellington Hotel is where I picked for us to stay due to its central location in Manhattan. Last Wednesday we flew out to NYC and checked into the Wellington. If you didn't know already this is where part of the Borat film was made, the main scene being where he tries to unpack his things in the lift thinking its his room and so many Borat jokes ensued in the elevators during our stay. The location of the hotel is amazing, its a 1 minute walk from Carnegie Hall, 2 minutes from Central Park and 5 minutes from Times Square and is located on the corner of 55th Street and 7th Avenue. A Palatial Hotel fit for a Queen

...Carmona is a town with a very long history and is situated about 30km east of Seville. It lies astride the NIV Seville-Cordoba highway so the town is very easy to find. The Alcazar de la Reina Hotel is situated in the heart of the old town. It's not hard to find as it's more than adequately signposted, but it's still a bit of an ordeal driving to it. The old town was not designed with the automobile in mind (in fact I doubt whether the wheel was even invented when much of this place was built!) and you must negotiate a torturous and convoluted route through the incredibly narrow streets and lanes (all one way). The streets are so tight, it could be quite hair-raising - I don't have much hair so I was alright. We had originally booked into the York Ibis but I decided to book this hotel as a surprise for him and cancel the Ibis - and I'm glad I did. I researched quite a few hotels in York but this one seemed to have the grandeur, facilities and central location I was looking for - and it had a spa! Originally named the Royal Station Hotel, the hotel was opened in the 1878 and was owned by the Northeastern Railway Company, the purpose of the hotel being to disguise the train station which is behind it. Advantages: Rooms are spacious, clean, fresh and everyone is so friendly.
Disadvantages: No disadvantges, loved this place.

...I visited this hotel with my school in February 2007 and there was a group of 40 with 5 teachers. The group included boys and girls, there were very welcoming when we arrived after a long flight from England and getting up a 4.30. They allowed us up to our rooms, which where very spacious and comfortable. They had big double beds, which could have easily have fitted three people in. The bathroom was spacious and clean with lovley hot water for when we took a shower in the morning and after a long weary day. They provided us with big white fluffy towels to use after our bath and shower and layed out complimenatry gifts for us to use. The hotel is just round the corner from Times Square which is buzzing all the time with the bright lights. I recommend you visit this hotel, with its friendly staff and comfortable beds....
