...Strange Brew. What is it? Well, it?s a film about Bob and Doug Mackenzie and they are a pair of Dumbwits that are supposed to live in Canada. All they are interested in is Donuts, Beer and Hockey. They make a real stupid film and get stitched up by the brewery. That is all I am saying or I will spoil the plot for you!!! ~It?s a real old film (about 1982) and stars Rick Moranis in his early days. I really think you should watch this film if you like Canada and Hockey. Oh and Beer!!! Great quote from the film ? Take off you Hoser!?. Its hard to get hold of in UK but you can order it from special shops. Not as good as the hockey fillm Slapshot but quite funny....

Satan's Brew

Advantages: There are no advantages to drinking this poison
Disadvantages: Tastes absolutely disgusting

...Special Brew, eh? The creme de la creme of Tramps' Stew style beverages. If you're drinking this rather than Tennants' Super, then you're obviously a higher class of hobo. It's not cheap, but that isn't really the point, because a pint of this stuff does things to you that normal pints will never do. I last had this stuff when I was sixteen but boy does it stick out in my mind even today. I drank three cans and proceeded to get lost in a field. I eventually came to after being enveloped in a nightmare for nigh on three hours, by which time I'd walked into a telegraph pole. Twice. It tastes worse than almost anything else I've ever tried. Only (a) tramps and (b) Chavs out to cause trouble, are ever going to drink this stuff habitually. This drink doesn't deserve any stars at all. In fact I'd give it negative stars if I could....

Advantages: CHEAP NIGHT IN - GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY - A STUDENTS WET DREAM!!
Disadvantages: TASTE ISN'T THE BEST - POSSIBILITY OF WAKING UP IN A&E

...Well well well .. me and the mighty Special Brew meet again and to be quite honest I'm glad theres a screen between me and the might lager as I can honestly say I've had some good times but oohhh I've definatly had some bad times on it! The first time I ever drunk this so called lager was at the age of 15 (nearly 5 years ago) in a park close to my home. I only had £10 per week from my paper round and armed with a bottle of White Lightning and 4 cans of Special Brew I decided to take on the world. Anyway with a bit of courage I decided I could drink all 4 cans with ease and still stand to tell the tale - I was definatly niave then!! ...I still live with my parents and this is the TV magazine that they buy. I don't see the point in buying another TV magazine just for me. I read this magazine more than I actually watch the television. Due to exams, drama, sign language and ciao I don't watch very much television. However, every now and then I do sit down and watch an episode of Eastenders or Coronation Street, with my mam. I don't need to watch every episode to know what is going on. Apart from the fact that usually nothing much is happening, I can read the TV quick to catch up. TV Quick come out weekly and costs 70p. We get it delivered from our local newsagents with our newspaper. We usually get it on the Tuesday, before the TV listings in the magazine starts. ...Tetley Teabags.... Tetley tea bags are of good value for what you are actually getting. They are slightly cheaper than brands such as PG or Twinings but the taste in my opinion is not overly different. Tetley bags are round to look at and of course this is different from the two other brands I mentioned before. PG claim that their pyramid tea bags help to diffuse the tes quicker and more efficiently but I feel Tetley teabags make the tea leaves diffuse just as quick and just as efficiently. For 80 tea bags you are looking at paying in the region of £1 depending on where you shop as prices do vary. The packaging is fairly simple and the bags are stored within a plastic type coated bag which is easy to open and has a sticky label which makes it easy to seal up again. ...Hi, following feedback have moved what was originally here in the correct section - hope that helps! With regards to quick reviews, I am quite new here, but I think they can be useful, in that someone with little experience such as myself can quickly add comments about a product without having to worry too much about how t do it. The downside is that perhaps, as suggested in other posts, it would make people lazy and perhaps it is good that people have to learn how to post properly - as I am doing at the moment! I would say though, that with such a feature it might also be useful to be able to delete the review too - quick reviews might be posted by mistake if someone is in a hurry. Unfortunately that happened to me!...
