...Casio QV R61 Info I purchased this camera at Christmas 2006, it cost me £150. This is an excellent camera with 6.0 mega pixels. The picture quality is amazing although when you transfer the image from your camera to your computer the images are quite big in size, although the bigger the size the better quality it should be. Casio Casio is a well known brand, Casio has made many cameras although I think that this one has topped them all. There are many different makes of camera which claim to be good quality and good zooms etc, but unlike many other cameras this one does give maximum performance and great picture quality. Cost This camera only cost me £150 at Christmas 2006. Before this camera was £230 and now it is probably even cheaper now. What ever you pay for this camera make sure you don?t pay more than I did as...

Casio QV2900ux - Wierd and Wonderful

Advantages: big zoom for a small camera
Disadvantages: low resolution for a high featured camera

...I have owned a qv2900ux for about 16 months and have been very impressed with the results. The main selling point of the camera when I bought it was its huge 32x zoom capabilities.This works out at 8x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.Anyone who owns a digital camera knows that digital zoom is not all that impressive as it simply crops the image and enlarges it loosing a lot of picture quality. having said that the 8x optical zoom has been very usefull and more than you could hope to find on a camera of this size and of a very good quality.I have also used it in conjunction with the digital zoom and surprisingly the results were still quite impressiveup to about 16x overall zoom.The 32x setting did start to loose clarity but it is stil surprisingly usefull at this setting if you are prepared to accept the snapshot quality of the images...

CASIO QV-70 DIGITAL CAMERA - Easy, Inexpensive, & Excellent Photos

Advantages: Great compact digital camera & inexpensive
Disadvantages: It uses batteries quickly

...I bought my CASIO QV-70 a little over a year ago and I have used it more that I ever thought possible. I sell books on Ebay and I use it to take photos of all my merchandise. The camera cost only $99.95 US and it has proved itself a true bargain. ~~~~~ The CASIO QV-70 is very compact and easy to handle. There are not many buttons: this is an older model yet still available in stores and over the Internet. The buttons are easy to understand and the manual that came with the camera is very instructive. ~~~~~ On the back of my camera is an LCD screen which I may opt to turn on or off while photographing. Keeping it off saves battery life and extends my use. It does use a lot of batteries but don't let that keep you from buying it. You may also purchase an adaptor for about $39.95 US and an adaptor is great for home use...

From the outset this camera has an elegant modern framework, with a sturdy lasting feel to it. We managed to get hold of this product for £423.00 with a 64mb CF Memory card. Why go digital

...Having tried and tested several digital cameras at work I decided that it was about time I purchased my own. I had used an Olympus, Samsung and an older Casio model before, and out of these the Casio was by far the best. After reading some of the opinions on Ciao I decided that the Casio QV3000 EX was the one to buy, and I have not been disappointed! The camera does not look anything special but is absolutely packed with features. The camera and software are user friendly which is important if you want the whole family to use it. There are a couple of things that are slightly annoying but are easily overcome. ...It was in the Christmas Sales of 2004/2005 that I bought the Casio QV R61 Digital Camera. At that time there was a special deal going on where you could buy the camera, get a free 256mb memory card and a camera case for free for only £230 which I thought was a real bargain! If you're anything like me, you get really confused with all the different cameras that's available to buy but after only reading only a little about this camera I was convinced it was the camera for me. The camera is quite small in size approx 4inches width, 3 inches height and comes in a very chic silver colour. A battery charger and 2 rechargeable battries come free with the camera so after charging these up and installing them in the camera you can go ahead and take some photos. High quality photos and build from compact camera

...The Casio QV-R4 at first glance is very compact and feature packed. It is a 4 megapixel camera which allows for A4 photos to be printed with excellent detail. The case is all metal and feels very sturdy. Mine has had several knocks and still works fine with no visible marks. The screen is of adequate size to see all the details and the selection wheel is clearly labelled and easy to use. As far as using the camera goes there is a very simple point and click setting where everything is automatic. There is also a fully manual mode if required where the user can set exposure time from 1/2000th of a second to 2 seconds, as well as a choice of aperture size and manual focus. The flash can also be changed from automatic to no flash, fill flash and red-eye reduction flash. Filters are also built in B/W, sepia, red, green, blue, yellow...
