Q.V.C the channel for me

Advantages: No queues or crowds, products demonstrated,entertaining to watch, prompt delivery
Disadvantages: high p&p charges, some shows long winded and boring

...I don't know why, but I've always been a fan of mail order shopping..the choosing, the waiting, the parcel arriving on your doorstep..I guess it brings out the kid in me! Q.V.C is my favourite shopping channel because although there are many others, it is one of only three that are available on cable television as opposed to sky satellite..The other two IDEAL WORLD and BID-UP are nowhere near as good. Q.V.C is the longest running of the shopping channels having been on the air for more than ten years. I first came across QVC when I bought a freeview box and started flicking through the channels. At first I didn't see anything very interesting but carried on flicking over the next few weeks and one day found a show that did appeal to me and started watching and from then on I was a convert!. QVC shopping experience

Advantages: Convenient and quick way to Shop

...I have watched QVC for nearly one year now, and yes I have been tempted a few times and ordered a few of the products! I have found the delivery particularly quick and effecient, also when you have to return something it is as easy as they say on TV. On the whole it had been a trouble -free way of shopping for me, and as my health has been considerable under par, shopping centres and travelling to them have been off my agenda. I have been very pleased with some household cleaners I ordered, carpet shampoo, stain removers, etc., and also some jewellery I ordered for presents at Christmas time. QVC I am hooked

Advantages: Easy to use

...that I have tried and it did not live up or do what I was led to believe but I have 30 days and I will get a refund, if it becomes faulty up to a year you will get a replacement or refund.On one occasion my bracelet broke and I had had it for well over a year it did take a while but I was refunded you would not get that in a high street store.The presenters are very good they have had a few which have been awful and not flowed as the others do and some good ones have left to go to other shopping channels but I think QVC is the best one out there.Try it if you were ever wondering have a go.you will not be sorry the phone numbers are free phone they have their own web site,credit card and magazine nothing for them is to much trouble....

QVC.UK - like Christmas each time I go to the post office !

Advantages: Professional, helpful company with a great website and shopping channel
Disadvantages: My living in Spain and not being able to order fresh products!

...I have been shopping with QVC.UK now for over 5 years. Living in Spain, even near Gibraltar, it is hard to get some tried and trusted cosmetics, household goods, clothes, shoes, gardening items, household linen - the list is endless! but, as long as it is not too heavy, or a fresh product (i.e. fresh plants and bulbs which I only wish I could order!) or foodstuffs, you can get it at QVC.UK and they will send to Spain. As a "shopping chanel" they are on 24 hours per day, although repeats are show from 02.00hrs to 08.00 hrs, 364 days of the year. I am addicted to their beauty and fashion, and have a lot of their jewellery. Price wise I think they are exceptional. ...I've watched and brought from QVC for many years now. I can't feeling a little disappointed each time a product arrives and I try it. I watch the presenters and their guest demonstrating the products and everything is a MUST buy. Take a carpet cleaner for example, they put coffee, ketchup, etc etc on a carpet, put this no wet wonder foam on and her presto it's as clean as when it was brought. It will clean any stain.........or will it?? I brought it for some stains on our carpet, and it made no differrence at all, I think I'm easily taken in by the professional sales talk. The other careful thing to take into account is P & P which can put the price up, especially on the cheaper items. You really can buy many items cheaper on line or in the shops.
