Q.V.C the channel for me

Advantages: No queues or crowds, products demonstrated,entertaining to watch, prompt delivery
Disadvantages: high p&p charges, some shows long winded and boring

...I don't know why, but I've always been a fan of mail order shopping..the choosing, the waiting, the parcel arriving on your doorstep..I guess it brings out the kid in me! Q.V.C is my favourite shopping channel because although there are many others, it is one of only three that are available on cable television as opposed to sky satellite..The other two IDEAL WORLD and BID-UP are nowhere near as good. QVC Quite a Valuable Channel

...QVC was founded in 1986 by Joseph Segal and began broadcasting in the USA in November of that year followed by the UK in 1993. Germany in1996 and Japan in 2001. I first came across QVC when I bought a freeview box and started flicking through the channels. At first I didn't see anything very interesting but carried on flicking over the next few weeks and one day found a show that did appeal to me and started watching and from then on I was a convert!. My husband used to say "you're not watching that again are you"but now even he has been known to watch the odd show as well as bought things. ...I have watched QVC for nearly one year now, and yes I have been tempted a few times and ordered a few of the products! I have found the delivery particularly quick and effecient, also when you have to return something it is as easy as they say on TV. On the whole it had been a trouble -free way of shopping for me, and as my health has been considerable under par, shopping centres and travelling to them have been off my agenda. I have been very pleased with some household cleaners I ordered, carpet shampoo, stain removers, etc., and also some jewellery I ordered for presents at Christmas time. TV SHOPPING JUNKIES UNITE

Advantages: some good bargains, easy to buy, occasionally entertaining
Disadvantages: TOO Easy to buy for some people, bland presenters in the extreme

QVC I am hooked

Advantages: Easy to use

...that I have tried and it did not live up or do what I was led to believe but I have 30 days and I will get a refund, if it becomes faulty up to a year you will get a replacement or refund.On one occasion my bracelet broke and I had had it for well over a year it did take a while but I was refunded you would not get that in a high street store.The presenters are very good they have had a few which have been awful and not flowed as the others do and some good ones have left to go to other shopping channels but I think QVC is the best one out there.Try it if you were ever wondering have a go.you will not be sorry the phone numbers are free phone they have their own web site,credit card and magazine nothing for them is to much trouble....

...I was first introduced to QVC via their cable television channel, about four years ago, and my opinion then was I'm sure, similar to many other people's. Who would want to buy from them? At the time, I didn't really pay any attention to them, and it was not until about a year ago that I began to take them more seriously.
