Q.V.C the channel for me

Advantages: No queues or crowds, products demonstrated,entertaining to watch, prompt delivery
Disadvantages: high p&p charges, some shows long winded and boring

...I don't know why, but I've always been a fan of mail order shopping..the choosing, the waiting, the parcel arriving on your doorstep..I guess it brings out the kid in me! Q.V.C is my favourite shopping channel because although there are many others, it is one of only three that are available on cable television as opposed to sky satellite..The other two IDEAL WORLD and BID-UP are nowhere near as good. Q.V.C is the longest running of the shopping channels having been on the air for more than ten years. I first came across QVC when I bought a freeview box and started flicking through the channels. At first I didn't see anything very interesting but carried on flicking over the next few weeks and one day found a show that did appeal to me and started watching and from then on I was a convert!. My husband used to say "you're not watching that again are you"but now even he has been known to watch the odd show as well as bought things. A perfect set of twins!

Advantages: Two shades in one compact, good quality shadow.

...? ~ When you first get the eyeshadow there is a 'V' symbol imprinted which does disappear once the shadow is used. It can be applied with your finger which is my preferred method of application but perhaps the most accurate method is with an eyebrush so that you can get right in to the corners of your eye. The shadow is crease resistant, whereas other shadows I have used do sometimes show up fine lines you may have and fall in to the crevices thus making them even more noticeable which isn't a great look!! What I like about it most is that it doesn't crumble. So many shadows I have used in the past leave a dust layer on my lashes which is a nuisance, not so with Virgin Vie twin eyeshadow. I have found the delivery particularly quick and effecient, also when you have to return something it is as easy as they say on TV. On the whole it had been a trouble -free way of shopping for me, and as my health has been considerable under par, shopping centres and travelling to them have been off my agenda. Advantages: The most original, mind-blowing TV series of all time
