...I recently bought my inkjet EPSON R245 printer as a replacement for my EPSON C66 printer. The printer was a refurbished model from EPSON which I purchased for £49 last month (unfortunately I think the previous owner smoked so it does reek abit, YUK!). Anways, the printer it self is great, fast, reliable, good quality print outs and easy to use. It incorporates a little LCD screen and a memory card reader so that you can print direct form your card, it also has a USB slot so it is also possible to print from your camera or phone or whatever. It also has function buttons which lets you select paper/printing quality, paper size and also the number of copies you wish to print. As these functions are all contained within the printer it self, it is not necessary to turn your computer on to do any printing, handy if your a computer phobe...

Samsung SyncMaster 245B

Advantages: Superb vivid colours and quality and great value

...Previously had an LG 19" Widescreen TFT and decided to upgrade to a Samsung SyncMaster 245B. Its native resolution of 1920x1200 is fantastic and the colours are so vivid. Playing gamers on it has never been so much fun, you can see so much and the screen is nice to look at. Its not as expensive as the Dell widescreens and in my opinion the screen is just as good, came packed with all necessary cables and 3 year standard manufacturer warranty. The TFT has a standard refresh rate of 60hz at max resolution but thats an average for a TFT and doesnt effect it really. If your looking for a gaming/media experience in the home and want a superb TFT to look at for visual quality this wont dissapoint you. Its great value for money and made by a reputable brand. My fist impression is that the car is a bit plasticy, although rattle free, but from the feel of the interior, the racing-style seats, I kinda figured you don't buy a Type-R for the awesome interior so further interior opinions won't be forthcoming. ...I regret ever setting eyes upon my Type R. I purchased a fully serviced 53-plate Honda Civic Type R from a Honda dealership in Grantham in November 2006. My reasons for choosing Honda was because I deemed them to be reliable and I went through a dealership specifically for warranty cover. After 4 months of owning the car, in March 2007 there was a tremendous clanging which could be heard over the radio. The car was recovered by AA the next day who took it to Honda to be looked at. The AA man discovered that the noise was down to a lack of oil in the car ? it had burnt 4.2 litres of oil in 3,000 miles which Honda stated is normal for a Type R! Honda wanted to strip the engine at my own personal cost to see if the car needed a new engine costing £8,000. ...WAW.... Well i finally have my Honda civic Type R. I was lucky to get the leather interior and aircon and cd changer which is always nice to have. Its GREAT, i was a little worried about the gears but that has seemed to be one of the best things about it. its close to the steering wheel and its just feels right. ...I have owned a Honda Civic Type R (2005 Model) for around six months now. I had many concerns about the car before buying it, however not one of these concerns still hangs over my ownership. I chose to buy a red example, but this is personal preference. I was concerned about the road noise of the car, given the stiff suspension and low profile tyres, as I do a fair amount of motorway miles. So far, I've barely noticed. I don't find the road noise too intrusive, only on the most harsh of road surfaces. Even then, the sweet engine note is more than enough compensation. The hard suspension is a bit of an issue over speed bumps - not to the point that you hear bottoming out noises, but it will certainly throw you around if you don't slow down. The low-set stance of the car has also caused me to scrape my front splitter (lower bumper...

...After 3 years and 54,000 miles, driving a Civic Type-R is hard work. Yes, the seats are comfy, yes the handling is pin-sharp and, yes it is good fun to drive down twisty country lanes. But 4,000rpm at motorway speeds makes for a very noisy place to be. Firm suspension isn't kind on the back and the lack of extras leave it feeling a little Spartan. So despite all the plus-points, motorway driving, which makes up most of my miles, is a chore. With my contract up for renewal I needed something a bit more "mature". Something a bit less boy-racer. ...I ordered myself an Epson R2880 from Amazon, they had almost the best price £499.99 delivered. At the time, they also had Epson 3 year extended warranty packs for £35, so I grabbed one of these too. The printer was delivered free in three days. Upon receipt and opening the massive box, it was instantly apparent that the R2880 is built really well. It has some real weight to it, and the panels all line up superbly. The opening top lid opens smoothly too and has some resistance to it, so does not just bag shut again. Around the back it is very simple, power cord socket, plus two USB connections, so you can easily connect to two different computers at the same time. ...Honda announced this limited edition model to commemorate 30 years of the Civic model in production. As a UK model it was restricted to 300 examples: 100 Red, 100 Black, 100 Silver.
