340R - Go Kart with Style

Advantages: Pure driving pleasure
Disadvantages: No roof, doors - not the most practical car in the world!

...It is terribly unfortunate that I don't own one of these amazing cars. however I have had the pleasure of using one on some rather good roads in Warwickshire. I loved it so much that I need to post a comment on Ciao. The 340r is a thoroughbread Elise, it is the Elise with out the finesse - it is just a totally pure drivers car. I love the looks, but many don't, it is often compared to a dune buggy. No doors is probably the first thing you notice. Who needs doors? it is not part of the driving experience, so it doesn't need them. The first task is to clamber over the sills housing the really cool translucent panels. Epson R2880... Superb printer and well worth the premium price

Advantages: Well built, superb quality prints
Disadvantages: You have to switch black inks for glossy and matte finishes

...I ordered myself an Epson R2880 from Amazon, they had almost the best price £499.99 delivered. At the time, they also had Epson 3 year extended warranty packs for £35, so I grabbed one of these too. The printer was delivered free in three days. Upon receipt and opening the massive box, it was instantly apparent that the R2880 is built really well. It has some real weight to it, and the panels all line up superbly. The opening top lid opens smoothly too and has some resistance to it, so does not just bag shut again. Around the back it is very simple, power cord socket, plus two USB connections, so you can easily connect to two different computers at the same time. Another great printer!!

Advantages: awesome speed, very low noise, excellent print quality

...As always, a lot of time was spent looking at all the available products. Our last printer (which has been passed on to a family member) was an EPSON 680, which when bought was a good mix of speed and resolution. but quite noisy The new printer we have is the EPSON R340. WOW! At first I didnt think it was working, it was so quiet ! Then I thought it had a problem because it couldnt have done all the pages so quickly, but it had ! The printer resolution is 5760 x 1440 and uses varying sized droplets of ink, making fade to white on a photo invisible to the naked eye (the printer also uses 6 inks in seperate cartriges to acheive this) The printer prints edge to edge, top to bottom, and I havn't seen any extra ink inside the printer when doing this. Honda Civic Type-R (2005)

...I have owned a Honda Civic Type R (2005 Model) for around six months now. I had many concerns about the car before buying it, however not one of these concerns still hangs over my ownership. I chose to buy a red example, but this is personal preference. I was concerned about the road noise of the car, given the stiff suspension and low profile tyres, as I do a fair amount of motorway miles. So far, I've barely noticed. I don't find the road noise too intrusive, only on the most harsh of road surfaces. Even then, the sweet engine note is more than enough compensation. The hard suspension is a bit of an issue over speed bumps - not to the point that you hear bottoming out noises, but it will certainly throw you around if you don't slow down. The low-set stance of the car has also caused me to scrape my front splitter (lower bumper...

...After 3 years and 54,000 miles, driving a Civic Type-R is hard work. Yes, the seats are comfy, yes the handling is pin-sharp and, yes it is good fun to drive down twisty country lanes. But 4,000rpm at motorway speeds makes for a very noisy place to be. Firm suspension isn't kind on the back and the lack of extras leave it feeling a little Spartan. So despite all the plus-points, motorway driving, which makes up most of my miles, is a chore. With my contract up for renewal I needed something a bit more "mature". Something a bit less boy-racer. ...I ordered my Kodak C340 off good old ebay for £72.50! I was impressed with the camera as it is quite small for a camera with its features - 5 MP, 3x Opitical Zoom etc. It feels like a real sturdy bit of kit with the kodak mark on it and feels like a classic as soon as you try it out! The first few shots i have taken have been around my home and their quality has been excellent, sharp, colourful, and defined! But after about 20 shots my normal aa batteries died! I thought that this might be a problem so i decieded to try a set of uniross 2100amh batteries that are recharble - these have lasted me until i am writing this review - and hopefully far beyond! The camera takes about 190 shots on a 256mb sd card but also can accept mmc cards. Another feature is the direct link up with printers with PictBridge - i tried this on my hp psc...
