...During the 1990s, if you had a games console you would have probably been in one of two camps: Sega or Nintendo. I certainly was rooted firmly in the Sega camp having had a Mega Drive for many, many years with games like Street of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. I was a huge Sonic fan, playing the first and second game until completion and then starting up again a few days later as I loved everything about it, the colours, the gameplay.... everything. So if you tried to convince me that some 10-15 years later that Sonic and Mario would team up in a game, I probably would have just laughed. Back then it would have been an absurd thought but one that any magazine reviewer or computer game fanboy would have only dreamed about. Well January 2008 saw this realisation with the release of Sonic & Mario...

...This game is called project Gotham racing in short it is called pgr4, in this review i will call this game pgr4 in short of the actual name (PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 4). Many racing games have been made for the 360, such as Colin Mcrae's dirt, ForzaMotorsport 2 and many other games. All these games have received good reviews by the public and critics but probably one of the most entertaining and simplest games to play has to be pgr4 for the 360. (Vehicles) All the cars and bikes are in classes ranging from class a to class g, with class a being the best and class g being the worst. The vehicles in class a you would expect to see in the best racing tournaments in the world being driven by lewis Hamilton but the vehicles in class g you would expect your granddad to drive. ...This wheel comes extremely well packaged and may take you a few mintues to actually get into it but atleast this lends assurance that it will transport well when it was shipped. The packages comes in 3 separate parts: >Wheel >Pedals >Table attachement WHEEL: The wheel itself is covered in a highly durable rubber covering making it very easy to keep a grip on it, which is an important feature if like me yours hands can sweat in the middle of an intense race. The wheel also has all the buttons you would find on a normal controller and they are all intuitively placed. ...Having seen the advert for this game i was desperate to buy it as i have not had my wii for that long and i do not have many games. I eventually bought this game and i am so glad that i did as it is great fun. Players This game can be played as a one player or multiplayer as long as you have a wii remote for each player. Also you will need a nunchuck for each player although some of the games you can play with just the remote. Characters In this game you can play as characters from either sonic or mario such as sonic, tails, mario, princess daisy and yoshi. ...Oho, now heres a chestnut! 1: Gran Turismo 2) If someone were to say to me "what is the single best racing game of all time, i could honestly and instantly answer "Gran Turismo 2" this is for me, the best racing game i have ever played of all time. On the PS,1 this game boasts excellent graphics, superb gameplay and for a racing game, superb individualities. The game consists of two different modes, arcade and simulation. In the arcade mode, you choose the courses and the ca freely, and do one off races. And in simulation, you see a "world map" of sorts, and you must buy cars, earn money, upgrade cars, sell cars and earn trophies in order to proceed in the game and unlock all of the extra features! My favorite part of this game was the fact that in order to drive, you needed a driving license in the game, and the better the car...

Viper Racing the don of games

Advantages: It is original, CHEAP TO PURCHASE, and it lasts forever

...Viper Racing is a game only discovered about 2 months ago, although it came out like years ago! This game, is like AMAZING. Yes, as you would have guessed the game is about driving Dodge Vipers around a series of circuits, but there are some pros here. As you race, and do well in races, depending on HOW well you do in these races, you get a certain amount of money. This money then goes towards upgrading components on your car. The list of upgrades is MASSIVE, and they are all very detailed and COOL upgrades which make the car go faster and handle better to get YOU faster lap times, and therefore more money. You can also design the paintjob on your car, with a massive variety or different textures and designs, with some funny/cool/trendy logos to stick on the bonnet, or number plate for instance. ...I watched this film one Sunday afternoon and I could not believe that I had not seen it before this was a great children's film and was very entertaining. Just when you think your eyes are deceiving you yes it really is, it's a Zebra and he is really cute. This film like all animal films has animals that can talk. The film begins when a travelling circus accidently leaves a zebra in Kentucky on a miserable stormy night. The zebra is later found by Nolan Walsh played by Bruce Greenwood, a horse trainer who's given up his job after a riding accident killed his wife, his daughter Channing played by Hayden Panettiere who wants to be a jockey like her mum when she grows up, although her dad has other ideas for her, she decides to name the zebra Stripes who is voiced by Frankie Muniz. Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games (Wii) is an 'ok' game.

Advantages: Lots of sports, can play with balance board, ability to play with a mii, dream events are fun.
Disadvantages: No real story, Balance Board controls poorly on most mini-games, might get boring quickly.

...'d expect them to be. As an example, when skiing you'll tip the Nunchuk and Wii-Mote left or right to steer, press the (A) button to boost, and flick the remotes upwards to jump. The only real exception to having standard controls is the speed skating games, wherein you must quickly waggle the remote at the start to get up your speed, then swing your arms left and right in time with the on-screen character to maintain it. There aren't really button presses in the games (aside from in one or two), except for in the dream events. Dream events usually consist of things like doing a ski jump through space, or skiing around the Sonic universe, or racing bobsleighs down hills in the Mario universe.
