Relax at the Radisson

Advantages: Nice hotel, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Expenisve, not much storage space in room

...~ Introduction ~ I recently returned from a holiday with my parents. We stayed in this Hotel in Nice, France. We stayed in a Radisson SAS in Amsterdam several years ago but other than remembering that it was a positive experience I don't remember a lot about it so I can't really compare the two. I was looking forward to staying in the hotel and I was pleased it was only 10-15 minutes away from the airport by taxi. My dad booked the hotel (along with the flights) online and he also booked out taxi so it was there waiting to pick us up at the airport. The taxi fare was charged to our hotel bill. After we landed and got our luggage we head out of the airport to meet the taxi driver. He was standing with a card which had our surname written on and he directed us outside where we had to stand 5-10 minutes before getting in the taxi...

Reliable Radisson

Advantages: Location, room size, friendly service
Disadvantages: Price, Cavernous size, Cleanliness

Well located radisson at a good price

Advantages: well located polite service
Disadvantages: overpriced food

...This review is of the hotel we stayed at in New York last week for 5 days, The Radisson Lexington. BOOKING I booked our stay through hotels.co.uk and was paid upfront which sometimes can make it more difficult on arrival, but no problems here. We got the 5 days for a rate of 490 pounds over the easter break which we felt was really good. We had previously held a room on the website and waited for a cheaper rate to appear on the other sites as they are always cheaper. CENTRAL LOCATION The hotel is exceptionally located on the east side of Manhattan. Radisson SAS Hotel Berlin. An oasis of calm in a bustling city.

Advantages: Stylish hotel in a superb location. Unique feature of huge aquarium in hotel atrium.
Disadvantages: One bed rather than two pushed together would have been nice!

...the total for two people for two nights but does not include breakfast.) Its not cheap but for the comfort and superbly convenient location I think it could be considered reasonable value. (Little side point here - the cost of using the observation lift in the aqaurium is not included for hotel guests.) Would I recommend this hotel? Well for couples or friends visiting Berlin for a sight-seeing weekend............go on.......give yourselves a treat. Just a note: this hotel is in the throes of being "re-branded" as the Radisson Blu Berlin....

Not normal Radisson Quality

Advantages: Close to Beveley Hills
Disadvantages: Location is a bit dodge....Dont go out at night without a bodyguard!!

...bad but with slow staff .....nightmare. We where lucky to get an upgrade to a mini suite, but again the room wasnot very nice.The king bed was lumpy, and the room as well as the rest of the hotel needed refurbishment in my opinion.The main problem was noise of the traffic and air con units in the room.General lack of maintainance was also a problem as both the sink and coffee maker had problems. Ive stayed at a lot of Radissons in my time and would have said until this hotel that they are an excellant chain offering first class service.This hotel was a let down and should not have the Radisson name, as Radisson is a chain I link with QUALITY and this hotel didnot have any of this!!!.Ths only good thing to point out is that this hotel had a burger king straight across the road...shame the staff there didnot speak english...

A blip in Radisson's excellent track record

...This reivew is based on a three night stay at this centrally located Radisson hotel in downtown Reykjavik. My stay was in August 2006 - let me know if you think things have changed! I have stayed in many Radisson branded hotels before and on the whole, they are fantastic. In fact, I owe the brand a few 5 star reviews on Ciao. I therefore had no hesitations in booking this nice looking, but very expensive, hotel for my short stay in Reykjavik, Iceland. WHY IS IT CALLED 1919? I'm sure you guessed correctly, yes the building was built in 1919. It used to be offices (for a shipping company) and was only converted into this hotel within the past few years. Once you step inside, the inside is decked out with a modern trendy look, incorporating some of the old featues (including a rather grand staircase). HOTEL FEATURES...

The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf

Advantages: Stunning hotel, big rooms, security is good
Disadvantages: Room Service and Reception staff don't care!

...The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf is a luxury 4 star hotel. I stayed in this hotel just 2 weeks ago for one night at a price of £150 - I had this on Last Minute.Com as a Top Secret Hotel. I chose this hotel due to the close location to the O2. The location is spot on with fantastic views, little did I know that between the hotel and the O2 is a river! This meant 2 tube rides to get to the O2. The hotel is very glamouros, clean and has good security. Check in is at 2pm, I arrived at 1:55 and they wouldn't allow me to check in - bit mean I thought! Check out is at 11am. They did take my luggage from me while I sat in reception until 2pm. The rooms are very modern with a bathroom that has a shower and a nice deep bath. You have a flat screen tv, access to the internet (you have to pay) and a CD player, alarm...

...OVERVIEW I just did a search on Ciao and noticed that there were no reviews for the Radisson SAS hotel in Co. Limerick in the Republic of Ireland and so I thought I would share my own personal experiences of the hotel in the hope that it will help others that are thinking of staying at the hotel, or at least help give a more informed opinion. When I booked to stay at the Radisson Co. Limerick in September 2007 it was advertised as a 4 star hotel on each of the websites that I looked at. SAS Radisson hotel in Beijing

...We stayed at the Radisson SAS Hotel Beijing for 6 nights on our travel to Beijing in March 2003. We stayed there from march 15th. The hotel itself doesn?t have a great location. It is located next to ring 3 on the northeast of Beijing. But this was not really a big issue because there were always taxis outside the hotel and it was easy to get into the center of town. It cost about 20-30 RMB to take the taxi into Tiananmen square. It is also possible to take the subway to get around. First you have to walk for about 15 minutes to get to Liufang station. From here you can get to the loop line and then switch to Line 1. The lobby of the hotel is standard.
