This Iomega unit allows you get 750 Gigs in RAID 5 since it has 4 drives. More cost effective storage space! Advantages: Stability, Overclockingfriendly & also Dirtcheap

...So good folks what we have here is a very stable, overclockfriendly & overall excellent s939 motherboard, considering the low pricetag + it has all the features you should need (SATA2 support & RAID etc.) unless if you want to go SLI/Crossfire and/or other fancy deluxe feats. as Firewire & such edit: SLI is having 2 of exactly the same graphicscards from NVIDIA connected to each other via a bridge connector & Crossfire is the same but instead of NVIDIA cards, its AMD/ATI cards. SATA2 is a newer standard that doubles the data transfer speed from 150MB/s to 300MB/s on harddisks that have that utilizes that interface (most newer does) RAID is used when having 2 or more of exactly the same harddisks to make them run faster by mirroring them, or to prevent datalosses (i´m not sure which one to use, however RAID0 ,RAID1, RAID0+1 RAID 5... With the purchase of an additional licence the ILO can provide keyboard and mouse interaction when the operating system has loaded, so you can be truely stood at the server keyboard from 1000's of miles away. As with most ABIT motherboards there are features that most people would miss, the board does not include a graphics adapter, so if you are using this board you will require an AGP Graphics card. The board also only has one 10/100 network adapter (built in), as more and more people are sharing their internet connection through a computer a second network adapter is becoming a necessity. There's also software included for "asynchronous mirroring" (RAID1) for data protection that continuously creates and saves a copy of data in real time onto a second NetDisk whenever data is written to the first NetDisk ! The server will take up to 64GB of 133MHz memory one of the excellent features is that the memory is raided and can be hot added to the server if you are running Windows 2003. The server also has 6 PCI-X hot plug expansion slots allowing Fibre Channel cards to attach to a SAN or additional Gigbit network cards. The server comes with 2 copper Gigabit NIC's on board, as said earlier additional NIC's can be added using the PCI expansion slots. For the internal disks the server has a built in smartarray 5i controller which allows you to have Raid1 or 5 using the 4 internal U3 disk slots.
