Northern Rail

...I too suffer daily at the hands of Northern Rail. Overcrowding, delays and cancellations are the most common problems. After three years of travelling to work using this company, i am able to say that from experience, there has been no improvement in the level of service for the £300,000,000 tax payers money that is annually chucked their way. The service provided by Northern rail is thrown into sharp contrast by that of Trans Pennine Express who have invested in new trains and actually understand the concept of customer service. I read with interest an interview with the boss of Trans Pennine who explained that, when travelling on his trains, he makes a point of announcing his presence on the train to elicit feedback from his customers. I can only imagine what would be done to the boss of Northern rail if he/she was to follow...

If you're familiar with Microsoft Train Simulator then let me tell you that Rail Simulator beats it hands down with superior sound quality, blistering graphics and realistic train handling. The controls are also very similar to those of MSTS meaning you can begin driving as soon as the software is installed. My only complaint is that the developers have focused so much on the fine detail of the four routes included on the disc, that they have neglected to include route mileage. The number of activities provided is also quite low, but you'll find many more on the Official Expansion Pack and the UK Train Sim website. Definitely one to purchase...

It?s of a similar humour to American Pie, rude, crude and a little wrong but actually a very well made movie and in my opinion very funny. Euro Trip was released in 2004 . ...I've had a young persons rail card now for 5 years and i wouldn't be without it. altogether the savings it has made me on rail travel have totalled at least £300. The young persons rail card gives you a 1/3 discount on standard train fairs any where in the UK and a discount on one day London travel cards. They are available to anyone aged 18-26 years old (and also mature students who have proof of student status from their academic institution). They are available from any British rail ticket office and cost £18 for one year at the end of which it must be renewed. Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...
