Am I in a rain forest? No just my bathroom.

Advantages: Cheap, nice smells, good value
Disadvantages: Not as relaxing as some bigger branded products

...Introduction Some of you may have read my reviews about the Co-op and how you can only earn Dividend money on the Co-op own brand products. Well that is why I purchased this Co-op Bath Foam Rainforest, at 83p for a 1 litre bottle it was a bargain on it's own. The Product It comes in a clear plastic bottle so that you can see the green liquid contained inside, the packaging is very plain but what do you expect for that price? The screw top is easy to open and while I was in the store I unscrewed it to have a quick sniff, it may only be 83p but if it smells horrible why buy it. Upon sniffing the smell is a fresh smell a bit similar to the smell you get after it has rained. The fragrance was strong but not over powering like some can be. No Rain Here

Advantages: great atmosphere

...The first ever time I saw a Rain Forest Cafe was in Orlando, downtown Disney. We were going to eat in there and enquired how long we would have to wait. An hour was the reply, we were so hungry that we went somewhere else. Years later when we visited The Animal Kingdom at Orlando we saw another one. There was an enormous elephant outside (no not me but I'm getting there), and an enormous queue. This time though we were determined to get in. We waited about 20 minutes which wasn't that bad for the size of the queue. We had to give our names in at the reception, and we were allocated a passport to adventure and tickets saying Belinda Safari of two. We hung around a while until they shouted out our name over the microphone. We were led to the Gorilla section. The inside of the cafe was enormous with waterfalls everywhere...

Magical forests

Advantages: idyllic, beautiful......plenty of woodland!!!
Disadvantages: quiet for those party people!!!

Advantages: Great story, feel good factor, lot's of actions, light hearted, easy to follow

Singin In The Rain is an interesting film that combines dance and movement with musical pieces. It is cleverly written with camera angles and other special effects that make the dancing come to life. Each actor is able to combine a number of talents including dance, acting and singing. The actor's are good all round performers unlike you see nowadays. The all round performer reflects the time that this film was written because actors were trained then in all areas of performance. For anyone who loves musical type films they will probably love this film and want to add it to their collection. Equally this makes a fantastic gift for the lover...

...Well another film review and another one with Dustin Hoffman and another one that won an academy award. Im reviewing the 1988 hit drama "Rain Man" starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. Hoffman's role for this film won him an academy award for best actor and it certainly deserved. Like most films that were made before my time I grew up watching them at a young age, my mum worked for a film marketing company and therefore I was always given a chance to watch all the new films, and some of the old one's. My brother who has seen Rain Man in the cinema, told me that's its one of those films that is an instant classic, it's just something that you would love. I like most mid teenagers, thought it was another one of those drama films with no concept what so ever, I didn't even like it the first time round. It took me at least another 6...

I saw some Monkey Business in the Forest!

Advantages: Fascinating to watch monkeys at close quarters
Disadvantages: Poorly designed facilities, cafe expensive, not a whole day's experience

...With two kids and a mother in law to entertain during the Summer holidays we decided to take our little monkeys out for a trip in the forest. Trentham Monkey Forest in Staffordshire is within half an hour's drive of my home town, so it's a place that we've visited on several occasions now. The concept is apparantly unique within the UK as the forest is home to over 140 Barbary Macaque monkeys who are free to roam as they please, within the grounds of a 60 acre enclosure. On arrival On previous visits, we've just walked straight through to the kiosk and purchased our tickets but on our last visit (mid-August, so at the peak of children's summer holidays) we found two lengthy queues at the entrance. Even more annoying was the discovery that we'd joined the 'cash only' queue which was indicated by a sign that was only visible...

There is no particular route through the park so our first visit was through the Butterfly House. This is where the name "Tropical Wings" originates. Once through the doors you are transported into a tropical rain forest and immediately you start to see huge butterflies in all sorts of colours. I think the largest is the Owl Butterfly, so named because with its wings spread the markings resemble the face of an owl. As its wingspan is 12-15 cms (approximately 4.5 - 6 inches) this is quite impressive. There were quite a number of these creatures flying about and further along some feeding on rotting bananas. Monkey Forest is Fantastic

Advantages: Different every time you visit, good for kids
Disadvantages: Uphill, not suitable for people with walking difficulties or wheelchairs

...I've been to Trentham Monkey Forest on three occasions and now and I am so looking forward to going again when the weather warms up a little this year. Its a little to cold to wander round at the moment. Initially when I went to the Monkey Forest for the second time, I did actually wonder why I was bothering as I had been before and at the end of the day what's going to be different the second time from the first but it is actually a different experience every time. Trentham Monkey Forest is a 60 acre forest, home to over 140 free roaming Barbary macaques. The Barbary macaque, normally would be found in the mountains of ALgeria and Morocco, possibly Gibraltar and is a tail-less Macaque.
