...Ralph Lauren is one of the better designer fragerances on the market at the moment. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is definatly worth a try.i found out about it when i was at a party, and i could smell it on my friend as she walked past me, and i asked them what it, was, they told me it was ralph lauren, and when i had enough money saved, i bought it for myself! It has a light fruity refreshing smell. it is quite a strong perfume, but when applied in small amounts, it it fresh and light, and has a fruity smell which lingers on you for the whole night, so there is no need to re-apply. The bottle and light packaging are simple but attractive. The bottle is a good size, and provides a lot of perfume, which lasts a long time, as a lot does not need to be applied. Disadvantages: Limited Shopping & Bargains, Gloomy & Dismal, Shortage of Staff.

...This perfume is absolutely adorable!!! I really love wearing it - it makes me feel really ... glamorous! It's a very adult scent, until I got used to it I did feel sometimes like the scent was a little too mature for me, its very strong and heavy, not a fresh, young smell. It's definately an evening perfume, perfect for a posh party, but I wear it in the day anyway. Its a perfume to get you noticed by women, men, dogs and children! It's strong too so you don't need to use a lot, I only have the 30ml bottle and I like to see it last because although it's not expensive, it's not cheap either. Ralph Lauren being a very known worldwide brand tend to see word of mouth and their very well presented website as enough marketing when releasing a new fragrance onto the masses. What is clear from the Ralph Lauren literature is that Polo Black has been designed for the urban professional, being sexy, mysterious and slightly dangerous. Ultimately described by the marketing blurb as modern, daring and sophisticated. The picture above shows the bottle, black in colour surprisingly and very elegant looking. It's easy to spot and very easy to hold and apply. Unfortunately Polo Black does not come with any printed notes making it very hard to judge what this should smell like on application and dry down, however from further research it is clear that Polo Black contains iced mango, silver armoise and patchouli noir... ...On arriving at the departure lounge in the airport I decided to treat myself to a little duty-free. So I entered the store and wandered off towards the fragrances section. It was here I noticed the small green box with the man on the horse. “Ralph Lauren - A sign of true quality” I thought. Being in a rush I didn’t test the aftershave, I just persuaded myself it would smell as good as Ralph Lauren was a top quality brand. On arriving at our hotel room, we decided to go out to a nightclub. I delved into my bag to get my new Ralph Lauren Polo aftershave. I removed the bottle from the box and gave it a good squirt on my neck. I expected a sweet smelling aroma to fill my nostrils, but instead I was repulsed by a smell I can only associate with an ashtray. ...As anyone who had read my other reviews will know, I am a huge perfume fan. It is very hard for me to name an exact favourite as I have so many but Ralph Lauren - Glamorous is definitely on my top ten list. Packaging Ralph Lauren Glamorous comes in a gold square box which is quite appealing to the eye. The bottle itself is round, with a flat top lid (the lid is round so its fits on the nozzle but it has a flat top to it) There is a small diamonte enclosed within the lid which is quite fittingly glamorous for a perfume bottle. The bottle itself is clear which is handy as you are able to see how much scent you have left. The lid is gold and matches the colour of the box. The Price I find that Ralph Lauren perfumes tend to me more expensive than some other on the market. A 100ml bottle will cost you £56 and a 50ml would cost... Read review
