...Ralph Lauren is one of the better designer fragerances on the market at the moment. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is definatly worth a try.i found out about it when i was at a party, and i could smell it on my friend as she walked past me, and i asked them what it, was, they told me it was ralph lauren, and when i had enough money saved, i bought it for myself! It has a light fruity refreshing smell. it is quite a strong perfume, but when applied in small amounts, it it fresh and light, and has a fruity smell which lingers on you for the whole night, so there is no need to re-apply. The bottle and light packaging are simple but attractive. The bottle is a good size, and provides a lot of perfume, which lasts a long time, as a lot does not need to be applied. ...Having worked partime for Selfridges as a salesperson in the cosmetic/perfume section I have a fair knowledge about all the latest products such as aftershaves/perfumes/creams etc…. One thing I soon learnt is that people are not easily persuaded when it comes to buying a certain fragrance – always looking for that distinct smell, a smell that maybe you and I may find too strong and off putting whilst another person may find it pleasant and refreshing. Most of us have heard of Ralph Lauren designer cloths, (the polo player on a horse) but that’s not all they do. Ralph Lauren also offers a wide range of health and beauty products, in particular an excellent range of aftershaves and perfumes. ...Launched in 2005, Ralph Lauren Polo Black is the newest fragrance from Ralph Lauren and was another of the large range of aftershaves given to me at Christmas. I have always been a fan of Ralph Lauren fragrances and class Ralph Lauren Blue as one of the aftershaves that is guaranteed to have my wife lusting furiously after me wherever I go. Available in both 50ml and 125ml bottles of the EDT or aftershave, prices range from £20 for the 50ml and £35 for the 125ml bottle. Personally I prefer to buy my aftershaves online due to the discounts available however this fragrance can be found in most duty free shops, perfume counters and most high street fragrance stores. Although on the day we went it was quiet, this wouldn't be too claustrophobic on a busy Saturday. However, the corridors between the shops bent at sharp angles, meaning that the sense of flowing between shops was lost, and the North Mall (one building) is strangely dim. ...On arriving at the departure lounge in the airport I decided to treat myself to a little duty-free. So I entered the store and wandered off towards the fragrances section. It was here I noticed the small green box with the man on the horse. “Ralph Lauren - A sign of true quality” I thought. Being in a rush I didn’t test the aftershave, I just persuaded myself it would smell as good as Ralph Lauren was a top quality brand. On arriving at our hotel room, we decided to go out to a nightclub. I delved into my bag to get my new Ralph Lauren Polo aftershave. I removed the bottle from the box and gave it a good squirt on my neck. I expected a sweet smelling aroma to fill my nostrils, but instead I was repulsed by a smell I can only associate with an ashtray.
