...My love affair with polo Sport started in my late teens when living with a cousin. Her boyfriend was something of a designer label freak, even down to the type of bath salts he used. For all his faults he had one thing going for him. He introduced me to Polo Sport and actually bought me my first bottle. Polo Sport comes packaged in a lovely white box with the Ralph Lauren logo on and a mock American flag. Instead of stars on the flag however there are the initials RL. Although minimalist in appearance I like the way it stands out in it's plain packaging. On opening the box you are greeted with the usual notes on the actual product along with the actual product itself. The picture above does the actual bottle great justice. ...Ralph Lauren Polo Sport is currently my favourite fragrance for myself. I wear it most days in the form of the deodorant stick and aftershave. The Polo Sport Range Is a fresh fruity but masculine fragrance, it is not overpowering and not to subtle it is just right. Polo Sport is an ideal fragrance for all occasions from the office to going out on the pull. My female friends love the fragrance and say it is very attractive. All fragrances roughly cost the same price not so Polo Sport is a good buy. The Aftershave is pleasant and easy to apply comes in an attractive blue bottle what more can I say. The deodorant stick has a milder fragrance and dries very quickly, i'm usually allergic to these sticks but I get no reaction from the Polo Stick. Advantages: Nice Refreshing Smell. Long lasting fragrance
Disadvantages: A little too strong the morning after the Night before.

...It was probably about a year ago I was wandering aimlessly around Debenham’s looking at all the fragrances, whilst trying to pick a new one. I’d got fed up with just using the same old Lynx all the time and decided enough was enough, I needed to spend some serious cash on a bottle of something that smelled nice and would do for any occasion. To be honest until I started work I would never have dreamed spending anything more than about 3 quid on a can of lynx as that was good enough. But as I started working and earning money and of course drinking it seemed only right that I bought a decent fragrance. Anyway enough of this side tracking story on with the product. ...I had mentioned in one of my recent opinions, on Drakkar Noir, that I had received a gift box containing six minature perfumes. The set is sold by Prestige et Collections, Paris, France and they call it "Collection Homme", which basically translates into "The Men's Collection". ...Hi. I haven't reviewed in a while but today, I'm going to share with you my experiences of Ralph Lauren Polo Blue. I first encountered this fragrance about two months ago when an nice lady asked me to 'model' it for her in Boots. Me, being such a nice person, did so and I do not regret it in the slightest; though I'm not so sure about my wallet... As I have so many fragrances (more reviews coming soon), I bought the smallest version of Polo Blue, which was 40ml and set me back £15 as a friend of mine works there but the RRP for 40ml EDT Polo Blue is round about £25. I shall quote other prices later. Polo Ralph Lauren, like most other perfume 'houses', do not specialise in cosmetics but in high-class fashion design. Advantages: Pleasant and long-lasting

...I've got so many bottles of after-shaves and colognes sitting around gathering dust, that I sometimes think I could nip down to Downing Street and mask the bad smell that emanates from there on a daily basis...nah, now that I think about it, no-one's got that much! Still, it's hardly surprising that I'm gifted the stuff on an all too regular basis, I've always been clean-shaven...ish. My son (the dang hippy), on the other hand, cultivates the Robinson Crusoe look. So why people would shower him in after-shave (not literally) is anyone's guess. Perhaps it's an easy gift that requires little thought? Anyhoo, I 'borrowed' a small dash of RALPH LAUREN POLO BLUE from him the other day You can't miss Polo Blue. ...I received the Ralph Lauren Polo Sport for women as a present for my birthday a couple of months ago and it’s still going strong today. I do like sports and use it quite a lot after a session in the gym but don’t worry you don’t have to be sporty to use it. The smell is really nice, it’s quite strong and therefore lasts a long time, suitable for everyday use or in my case to freshen up after the gym. Although, I don’t use it for evenings it can be more than suitable. The scent is perfect for having a shower, putting on a couple of squirts on and getting on with the rest on your day. You will be surprised how this perfume lasts so long, even a small squirt lasts a long time. Advantages: relatively inexpensive, fresh smell
Disadvantages: Nothing that Hilfiger and Adidas haven't done

...I always find it difficult to rate perfumes because different scents are created for and liked by different people. I tend to not like the musky, heavy scents and pretty much am the market target when it comes to light sporty scents introduced by the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas and Ralph Lauren. Polo Sport for Women is very similar to Tommy Hilfiger Girl but it is a fresher and more wearable scent. I generally do not use perfume except for special occasions, but this scent is light enough that it is not out of place to be smelled wearing it with just a t-shirt and jeans. (I otherwise generally tend to think of perfume as a formal accessory). It can be described as sporty fresh I suppose. It is similar to woman type sport deodorants but of course the lasting power and initial strength of the scent is much stronger... Read review

...I recently purchased a 125ml bottle of Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren at Heathrow as I couldn't find anything else that I wanted. The price was about £33, in Boots I found the same item for £40. Thank god for duty free! After you take off the uninspiring box, well its not exactly flash as say the new DKNY prism design bottles, you get to the ultra cool blue chunky bottle. The bottle has the familiar Polo Sport and American flag on it, with an usual nozzle with a top covering it. Taking the fact this product has been on the market for quite a while it now looks a bit outdated, but thats not why I bought it. I bought it for the contents, unlike many people who just buy fragrances for the bottles to show off! When I first sprayed on the fragrance it was shockingly strong, but a good strong.
