...well when i bought my new rig 5 months ago i spent a small fortune on the graphics card so started looking for some good priced and branded ram with good timings i stumbled upon the geil ram and it looked perfect i purchased the GeIL Value Dual Channel 2 GB DDR SDRAM kit and i now run itin my new box on an asus a8r-mvp motherboard with a 3.5 64 bit chip in it. my rig is mainly used for gaming hence the need for a good graphics card and good ram this ram has performed very well in both dual and single channel mode currently i am running it in dual channel mode and combined with the rest of the pc i can run battlefiled 2 at max settings with no lag and still achieve 90 fps overall for the money you cannot go wrong with this ram the heatsinks on it look good and do work well.... I bought this ram for £65 a month ago but i'm sure you can get this cheaper. The Ram was very easy to install, I opened my case, found the two 240-pin DIMM Slots, pushed down both of the safty caches and slotted in both of the modules making sure i didn't touch any part of the chips on the Ram which may make it unusable due to static electricity in the skin. If you are going to install the Ram yourself I recommend that you invest in an anti-static ristband... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, Lifetime Warrenty & Tested

...Kingston Value RAM is probally the best WhiteBox Solution.This Product will be fully tested when you get it and come with a lifetime warrenty and is probally the only one that i have ever had with this sort of Support. Prices for this module are a little bit higher than in some other places but it is well worth the extra cost. I use these modules and run them in dual channel on new machines. I have never had a customer which has returned a PC with a memory fault or any fault that had kingston memory. The chips work very well. I have run memory tests on them and they never show up with an error. On the whole this is probally the memory you want to go for if you are looking for value RAM.... Read review

...When I built my new pc I check around to find the fastest the most reliable ram I could afford without burning a big hole in my bank balance, and the Corsair XMS2 Dominator is what all of my research came up with A solid performer with good overcloking caperbillates with good heat spreaders, ok so it runs at 800 MHz standard but with a bit of carefully pushing (and the correct type of cooling) will run at 1066 quite happily. The memory is very easy to install and if like me you can see the insides of your gaming rig it looks damn fine just sat there on the motherboard So you can get more bang for your money by overclocking this ram but be careful you don’t want to kill it So once again it’s a big thumbs up from me... It features a Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 / 1.66 Ghz processor that runs the 1gb of installed ram inside, also this 1 gb of ram can be upgraded to a maximum of 4gb. This is great for those users who want something a little quicker, and I find that after a while your laptop becomes slower, then you may want to add an extra gb of ram I=to increase the speed and it really does work too. It was great to see this laptop has a 160 gb hard drive, because most laptops with 1gb of ram only have 80 gb or 120 gb or hard drive. 160 gb of hard drive is more than enough for anyone really and even if you do need more storage, you could always buy an external hard drive and plug it into any 1 of the 4 hi-speed usb ports. Forget about the 5 in 1 card readers, now you have a fantastic 8 in one card... Read review
