...The Ramada Encore in Bournemouth is a well placed hotel within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants as well as the beach and surroundings attractions. At the time of writing there are over 70 Ramada hotels in the UK. ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN The hotel was easy enough to spot from the main road as it has a large sign in front to indicate its presence. We drove into the car park at the rear of the hotel and managed to find a parking space. There were also guest parking spaces at the front of the hotel and underground parking available with a lift to bring you up to reception. The car park has around 80 spaces. We were able to enter the hotel through the rear entrance and went to reception which was just a few yards away. Ramada Encore the place to be

Advantages: close to central london, amazing value
Disadvantages: not obvious to find

...Ramada Encore is a fantastic hotel to stay in. We were celebrating my boyfriends 23rd birthday and wanted to stay in a nice hotel, which was easily accessible to London. This hotel is amazing as it was easy to find and in a perfect quiet location to relax in. The exterior was amazing and the interior even better. The room was beautiful. Very modern and contenpary, and very clean. The staff were wonderful. Very polite and attended to your every need. The breakfast was tasteful and the restaurant was absolutely amazing. the food tasted so amazing. I would defiantly recommend staying in this hotel and will even be coming back to for my birthday. Location brilliant as it had a tube station near by making London accessible. Amazing hotel at an excellent price. Defiantly two thumbs up....

Modern styling if a little Spartan

Disadvantages: perhaps a little TOO handy for some tastes

...I recently had occasion to use the York Ramada Encore for a weekend break, with my better half, and a couple of very good friends. If your idea if chain hotels is excessively over decorated chintz palaces, then you may be in for a pleasant surprise. The Ramada Encore is a modern building on the western bank of the Ouze - or putting it slightly differently, at the 'station' end of the city centre, and is on the lower section of Micklegate. Décor style is 'informal contemporary' - plain emulsioned walls, carpet tiles in the corridors, laminate flooring in the bedrooms. Furniture is kept to a minimum, we had one of the larger rooms, so we had a swivel chair on castors and a two-seater settee. Advantages: Some truly great tracks.
Disadvantages: Some self indulgent nonsense.

...Encore - Eminem Now I am not a great fan of Eminem however I bought this cd when I first heard 'Mosh', track 8, I'll expand on this later. I then heard all this stuff about Eminem retiring, this was his last album etc., etc. I am a fan of Dr Dre however, and as he produced the album that helped to persuade me. So it was with a critical ear that I first listened to it. The fact I still have it four years after it's release is testament to the fact I like it, otherwise it would have been boot sale bound by now. The booklet inside has all the lyrics, I like that; and lots of 'set up' photo's, bit too much gun imagery for me but there you go, this is his style. The tracks: 1. I find that Lulu and Lionel Ritchie would seem quite odd singers to feature on this CD with Russell but they really do make fantastic duets which give the CD the slight edge away from the classical which appealed to me. The Cd cover has a picture of Russell Watson walking down a long corridor with his name at the top and the title of the CD, Encore, at the bottom. The reverse of the CD has a head shot of Russell smiling and the track play list. The Cd cover also cobntains a few words from Bill Borrows about the CD and Russell and it also contains the words for each of the songs. This CD was produced in 2001 by Decca Music Group Limited. ...Having already spent a very nice short break at the Ramada Jarvis Gourock Hotel for my birthday a couple of years ago we decided to book the Christmas Party Night for the 16th November. I know it’s a bit early to be celebrating Christmas but for us it was just an excuse to get away for the weekend.
