Advantages: Looks really smart and efficient Disadvantages: None that spring to mind
...We bought a rangemaster toledo 110 cooker for our new kitchen earlier this year.
We decided on the colour of silver rather than stainless steal as this is easier to clean and wipe.
The double oven is brilliant and practical. One is fan assisted so is really fast the other is just conventional. They are both large and can easily cook Christmas dinner for a family of 14. Both have large windows on the doors which is brilliant for checking on foods. Built in oven lights too.
It also has a separate built in grill. If you need to grill something small you just switch on half the grill - how cool is that?
The built in hob on top is lovely. We have electric so naturally have a ceramic hob. This too is easy to clean. There are 6 halogen rings. Two of which you can half on or full on.
Beware of scratches though on the g;ass hob.
All in all...
Advantages: Looks good, cooks well economical in gas use Disadvantages: none that we haqve found
.../range back into this space. It needed very careful measurement because if we bought a cooker that would then not fit in the whole we had we were going to be in big trouble. Anyway we measured and consulted with the kitchen fitters and we finally decided that the Rangemaster dual fuel 110 would fit in the hole and so - all systems go. We also have no mains gas in our village so we needed to have gas pipes ready for calor gas tanks laid under our driveway which fortunately was being newly laid at this time as the kitchen was only a small part of our major house renovation.
After living off microwaved food and TakeAways for a month we were so excited about finally going to move back into our new kitchen and be able to use a cooker to cooker proper meals or so we thought? It turned out that although we had had a gas pipe fitted under the new...
Advantages: Looks great, two different ovens, 5 hobs, cleans easily Disadvantages: Expensive
...When I moved into my new house (a new build on a new development) the kitchen came with the impressive kitchen beast that I like to call the Rangemaster 90 (when I say came free I mean didn't have to pay extra on top of the extortionist price we had to pay for the house).
Anyway, I was very impressed by this little fact and that almost sold the house to me then and there, but not quite. If you have to buy them I believe they are in the region of £1,500 but in my opinion well, well worth it if you can afford it.
Anyway, I can tell you, I am the envy of all my friends now whenever they come over as after 2 years they still mention the oven as the first thing they do when they walk in the kitchen.
According to a recent range cooker survey carried about by Which ? magazine, they voted it best buy August 2007 and for the Toledo 110...
Advantages: Capacious ovens Disadvantages: Strange extra shelves and dangerous doors
...- it turned out it was accurate temperature-wise but slower than the oven I had before. The second call out was because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable.
So yes, a good cooker, but not without issues to my mind!...
Advantages: Easy to use, Looks great Disadvantages: None
...Inspiration
Having seen this beast of an oven in a local shop I was hooked and had to ahve it for my new kitchen. I was intrigued to find it cheaper than the £1500 for the version I wanted.
Getting the Deal
A bit of searching on the net and I managed to get the same oven (black with gold trim), with an extractor and five year warranty on both for less than I could have got just the oven in MF*.
Paid for by C/C the company phoned back to confirm everything was ok and gave us a cust ref number and tel number for the Rangemaster Company who were going to make the oven for me from scratch (which if you didn't know is part of the Aga group - can't get much better!).
A quick and easy call to Rangemaster confirmed a morning time to a specific delivery date.
Delivery
The morning arrived!
I was awoken at 7.45am by the sounds...
Advantages: Twin fan ovens Disadvantages: None to date
...The RangemasterClassic 90 in Dual Fuel really is an outstanding cooker.
We went for the matt black version with chrome trim and it is a great focal point to our kitchen.
It has 5 gas burners - 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, plus a double burner which as it name suggests is wonderful when wok cooking.
It has 2 electric fan ovens, 1 of which is tall and houses 4 racks plus a plate rack. It also has a large separate grill, with browning elements. The cooker comes complete with a griddle and a Handyrack (with roasting tray) which is fixed (can be removed) to the oven door and makes basting easy.
The cooker has a temperature which is useful and a clock, which allows you to programme meals ready for your arrival home.
Delivery was just 2 weeks, although the Splash Back took longer for some reason.

Advantages: See Review Disadvantages: NOT self cleaning..?!!
...Background
We were fortunate enough to extend our home recently, and along with a whole new kitchen, I had to decide on what cooker to buy. In an ideal world, where money was no object, I would have loved to have bought an Aga - but sadly budgetary constraints ruled out this extravagance. My sister-in-law already had a Rangemaster and I had liked the look, size and functionality of it and so this was what I ended up buying.
The Cooker
It is a dual fuel cooker, with two fan assisted electric ovens, an electric grill and a five burner gas hob. It can be installed to use either mains/natural gas or L.P. Gas.
My cooker is black with chrome handles and trim?.pretty sleek looking for a cooker, if you like that sort of thing! It is also available in racing green, cream and ivory, all with either chrome...
Advantages: Good looking, superbly built cooker Disadvantages: Glass top is difficult to keep clean
...I moved into an old farmhouse about a year ago and decided that the kitchen needed a range cooker. After considering the various options including a traditional wood burning aga I opted for the easier to maintain range style Cooker.
I traipsed round countless shops looking at everything that was available and opening and closing doors like a mad woman until I found exactly what I wanted. It is surprising how many of them felt like the doors were buckling as you opened them. I opted for the incredibly well built and solid feeling Rangemaster110. It comes in a variety of options including Electric, Gas, LPG and dual fuel.
It has four rings on top as well as an excellent griddle and a warming plate. Never having used a griddle before I was uncertain of its advantages but I am now a total convert as it cooks food very quickly and very...

Review of Rangemaster110
Advantages: it works and looks good Disadvantages: has really bad controls
...I bought the Toledo (90 cms wide) as it was about the only range cooker with both gas hobs and more importantly a gas oven. (The second oven is electric).
The range is delivered and installed by Rangemaster who are both very good with their communications for arranging a date and time and very good with delivery. As my building work was incomplete they did not install it but installation is reasonably simple.
It is very much a cooker which does what it claims to do. The hob arrangement is slightly counter productive with both the simmer and highest rated rings both at the front. The non stick griddle sits on two gas rings and works well but it would have been more convenient if it were designed to sit on the wok burner.
The grill is very efficient and the gas oven works well.
The second oven is a strange appendage. It is not really wide...
