The door fell off my Rangemaster!

...- it turned out it was accurate temperature-wise but slower than the oven I had before. The second call out was because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable. So yes, a good cooker, but not without issues to my mind!...

Rangemaster 90 Dual Fuel

...Inspiration Having seen this beast of an oven in a local shop I was hooked and had to ahve it for my new kitchen. I was intrigued to find it cheaper than the £1500 for the version I wanted. Getting the Deal A bit of searching on the net and I managed to get the same oven (black with gold trim), with an extractor and five year warranty on both for less than I could have got just the oven in MF*. Paid for by C/C the company phoned back to confirm everything was ok and gave us a cust ref number and tel number for the Rangemaster Company who were going to make the oven for me from scratch (which if you didn't know is part of the Aga group - can't get much better!). A quick and easy call to Rangemaster confirmed a morning time to a specific delivery date. Delivery The morning arrived! I was awoken at 7.45am by the sounds...

RangeMaster 90 - A Master in the kitchen!

Advantages: Looks great, two different ovens, 5 hobs, cleans easily
Disadvantages: Expensive

...When I moved into my new house (a new build on a new development) the kitchen came with the impressive kitchen beast that I like to call the Rangemaster 90 (when I say came free I mean didn't have to pay extra on top of the extortionist price we had to pay for the house). Anyway, I was very impressed by this little fact and that almost sold the house to me then and there, but not quite. If you have to buy them I believe they are in the region of £1,500 but in my opinion well, well worth it if you can afford it. Anyway, I can tell you, I am the envy of all my friends now whenever they come over as after 2 years they still mention the oven as the first thing they do when they walk in the kitchen. According to a recent range cooker survey carried about by Which ? magazine, they voted it best buy August 2007 and for the Toledo 110...

Review of Rangemaster Classic 90 Natural GAS

Really a CLASSIC

Advantages: Twin fan ovens
Disadvantages: None to date

...The Rangemaster Classic 90 in Dual Fuel really is an outstanding cooker. We went for the matt black version with chrome trim and it is a great focal point to our kitchen. It has 5 gas burners - 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, plus a double burner which as it name suggests is wonderful when wok cooking. It has 2 electric fan ovens, 1 of which is tall and houses 4 racks plus a plate rack. It also has a large separate grill, with browning elements. The cooker comes complete with a griddle and a Handyrack (with roasting tray) which is fixed (can be removed) to the oven door and makes basting easy. The cooker has a temperature which is useful and a clock, which allows you to programme meals ready for your arrival home. Delivery was just 2 weeks, although the Splash Back took longer for some reason. Check out the location of cupboards...

A Classic Memory...

... iPod Classic 160 GB iPods , the most amazing gadgets of all time. Who would have ever beleived that such a small mod con could hold so much memory and so much to explore. The family of iPod'swhich include the smaller yet impressive iPod Shuffle which runs on flash memory , the even more interesting iPod Nano which includes a video screen which holds 8 GB memory models , and it this just gets better because the next iPod in the family is the absolutely amazing iPod Classic which can even hols up to an impressive 160 GB of memory which is just unbelievable for an almost palm sized mp3 player, you just have to agree these are just so amazing. I bought my iPod from my cousin for a very good price of £150.00 , considering they are around £250 if you purchase them in a shop or online... The penultimate iPod in the family...

An absolute Classic

Advantages: This doesn't have room, this has aircraft hangars. Great iPod
Disadvantages: Few small problems, nothing major though

Before I purchased the 160GB iPod Classic, I owned a 256mb Goodmans MP3 player, which only held 30-40 songs. I then was given a 2GB iPod Nano for my birthday and I thought that 2GB was a lot considering I didn't really have much music on my computer at the time. But as I started downloading music and buying more CD's, I started to acquire a lot of tracks that would require a lot of space. Then I had so much, it was quite a task trying to sift out 2GB of music worthy enough to go onto my iPod. Then I started downloading U2 bootlegs at 100MB (approx.) a show and this was the final straw, I was in need of a bigger capacity MP3 player. ...I have had my ipod classic for nearly two years now and ive only ever had one fault with it, and even then apple sent a U.P.S van out with package, i returned it with the driver and the ipod was sent back to me full circle in three days. I have owned the ipod shuffle and the video and i would have to say the classic is the best. The menus are easy to minovure around and the coverflow is a very nice touch. The cover flow enables you to find the album just by remembering what the cover looked like, sound like it cannot be hard to forget a fav track, with 160gig its easily done so you will be thankfull of the cover flow after twenty minutes of searching. Dual fuel Rangemaster cooker - for great cooks

Advantages: Looks good, cooks well economical in gas use
Disadvantages: none that we haqve found

This is a cook's cooker!

Advantages: Two fan ovens. Reliable and accurate oven temperatures. Looks stunning. Sturdy and easy to keep clean.
Disadvantages: None at all.

...often I use the second oven in preferance to the main one (something which I never did when the second oven was tiny and not fan assisted) This cooker is extremely well made and sturdy and one thing which I particularly like is the fact that the oven door closes are magnetic. (I know you're not supposed to close the oven door with your foot but we all do it!) It comes in a range of colours (much like an AGA) and a choice of chrome or gold trim; there are also various other ranges in the Rangemaster catalogue which offer the same features but different doors/trim etc. I almost forgot to say that it comes with a plate warmer for the tall oven (I hate to call it the second oven as it is just as good as the main one) a griddle, a wok support and a roasting tin which hangs on a rack on the oven door.
